Chen Yuqi doesn't really giving the FEMALE LEAD vibes. Everything from her visuals to her aura doesn't fit to be FL. She looks like a side chic in this drama and she doesn't have chemistry with male lead Li Yifeng. Yes, I'm pointing her out because with LYF's previous dramas, he always had better onscreen chemistry with his FL leads. Chen Yuqi lacks that It Factor tbh. Li Yifeng looks cute here and his acting is on point. Wish the FL was different, it would have made a huge difference.
Finally done watching. Rating it 7/10. The last 4 episodes were done/cut weirdly, abruptly. The last 2 episodes in particular lacked that intensity, that kind of thrill, we've been chasing who the real Murderer is and that's it? Also, I really find zly's acting a bit lacking, I mean it's okay, but just lacking spice, probably had to do with the concept of her character but still... Love the last scene of Xia Mu and Shen Yu, I thought he was gonna confess his feelings, lol 😂. Overall it was enjoyable but a letdown in a sense that some were raving about it but I didn't find anything outstanding about the story.

Lol, you don't need to be an actress or a model in dramas to dress nicely. I've seen countless of dramas and characters with doctors as occupation, they look more believable with decent, presentable outfits. As one commenter above says, it's on the drama's outfit department. And also, it is my viewpoint my opinion. I am merely saying I find it weird, odd, her hairstyle, her hair looked dry and all. There was one scene I forgot which episode but her hair was clearly dry and unkempt, Idk. As an audience it bothers me. Her outfits too looked too earthly. This is a drama they could have dressed her better for audience to feel more of her inner demon, for me she doesn't looked believable as, again it is my own opinion. If anyone think overwise, I don't have problems with that.
Idk if it's just me but I find Zhao Liying's acting a bit off, not enough as a psychopath or whatever she's called now based on her actions, also her style and rugged hair, Idk why I'm bothered, I mean she's a doctor, a psychologist, she can dress better than that, Idk. I have watched many Kento dramas and I definitely liked him in Todome no Kiss, I thought he did well in that. Never really thought he was a bad actor but when I saw Kingdom movie, his limitations as an actor shows. Ryo definitely overshadows him in that movie. He is not particularly good in major emotional scenes. I don't hate Kento, e of his shows are up there in my favorites list but those were all idol dramas. He needs to hasten his acting more if he wants to keep getting/playing challenging roles and shows. I repeat, he is not particularly bad at acting, but it is obvious that he lacks somehow in acting esp, you can see he is trying his best and I commend him on that, but as an audience, it felt too obvious and comes off as unnatural, there were some scenes in this drama that I find his acting cringy and awkward. Nonetheless, the drama is good though it fell short in its story telling.

Kent's acting is lacking, oftentimes it felt forced. You can really tell he is trying his best, it shows, but it felt unnatural. Some scenes could have been delivered better if not for his cringy, trying hard acting. P. S I don't hate Kento, I have watched some of his works, but this drama is too heavy for him, imo.
I also felt like watching 2 different shows as the first half was almost completely different than the 2nd half. It became boring and snooze feast moments.
The story has potential but failed to deliver till the end. The cinematography is outstanding, but the friendship thing and some emotional parts lacked lacked heart. The actions were good but the drama isn't that "brainy" compare to Liar Game (I am mentioning since some compares this to that classic drama which I dearly love)

It's GREAT. I'm super loving this drama. It has a complex, complicated storyline with lots of characters. I love dramas with so many things going on and this one takes the cake. Actors are all handsome, the story is super engaging, thrilling, with the right, super right amount of love . Its another Mary sue story but I wouldn't mind it. The cinematography is great too. Its a webdrama so its understandable with some effects/budget out there but other than that, this definitely is shaping to be one hell of a ride!
