I loved it but I felt short of my expectations partly because it's hat good and the story still has potential that I expected too much. How I wish, there's more me against the world scenes between Kang TaeWoo and Jung SeoYeon, more fighting scenes, and heart-stopping actions. Nonetheless, it's one of the best dramas I have seen in recent years. It's one of the few that made me very interested until the end. Kudos to Jo Yeo-Jeong, her acting is so believable and of course to Kim Kang Woo, without him here, I wouldn't enjoy this drama that much. Both of them definitely have that umph chemistry. Overall, 9/10 for me
I have always find Yoon Kye Sang good looking, I really like his looks even before but gosh, I think I am falling deeper and deeper to him in this drama. He looks even more handsome here and he's got a good build/figure - not too thin and not too bulky, idk his clothes really suit him, it also helps that he is tall. I love his character here and him being a doctor is a bonus. MyGAD, I know its not right cause he's got Honey Lee but I am shipping him hard with Ha Ji Won
"OLDBOY" is more revelational than this. It was good but not that great though Joo Yeo Jung deserves the Beast Actress Award. I almost laughed when I saw her acting here, not because I find it funny but because its soo different from her previous roles - well I am currently watching "Woman of 9.9 Billion" and she's so different there, her acting, her aura, its as if two different actors. Love her!
The screenwriter and director were the ones responsible for the critically sad/melodrama I'm Sorry, I Love You. Its their first time working for 15years so there you have it, that's why this drama is of high quality and has that sadness mood into it. I really really cannot wait for the next episodes.
Ohh I know right! The wait is torturous. Wish I had waited too. And i did not know this is the same writer as…

I don't know it's only for me or not but i think the writers are trying too hard to make this show more dramatic.…
Yes. Jang Hyuk's drama choices are a bit off. I dont even know why he accepted this offer here. And this drama, the actors are mediocre. I can't stand bad acting anymore so I am dropping the show. The drama is too dramatic than it should be. They should have casted better actors and find better writers. What a waste they are using Lee Bang Won's side story. It was very well done in Six Flying Dragons.
Okay, after dropping in episode 7, I decided to pick it up since Lee Jae Wook x Lee Da Hee's story is compelling acc to reviews. And yup, they're right. I finished the drama focusing on their love story. They definitely have that chemistry that the main leads were lacking. I used to really like Im Soo Jung but her performance in the last 2 dramas I watched she's been underperforming. Something about she speaks and acts is bothering me. Anyways I'm giving this a 7.5/10. The drama may be good but office drama's like this aren't really my cup of tea.
I have really tried to understand the hype around Yang Mi and how did she manage to get so famous, but I don't.…
you must be a newbie for not being able to understand the hype around a certain actor/actress. I supposed you're not following her career and the Chinese entertainment industry. Yang Mi is considered one of the most popular celebrity in China at top among chinese actress in terms of weibo followers. She is considered a fashion icon. She is pretty, decent at acting, her drama's are well rated, acted in one of the most popular dramas TMPB, she has so many hits under her belt. Many popular male celebs are linked to her including Li Yi Feng & Feng Shao Feng. She married (now divorced) popular actor Hawick Lau. She's into a couple of popular variety shows. She is a successful businesswoman. A lady like that with all those achievements (and with that kind of pretty face) will surely reach a mega star status and an envy to most girls/women. No need to understand her hype. She will remain queen regardless.
I was never a fan of Yoshizawa Ryo and I came here for Yamazaki Kento and Nagasawa Masami but after watching this I can say that Ryo shined here. His acting is really good and has a commanding presence even when he is sharing the screen with Kento. I was almost trick into thinking that Ryo was the main man here. Kento was good but his acting is kind of too-much, he gave it his all to the point that it seems unnatural and cringy. Other than that I liked the movie. Nagasawa Masami was so pretty in her costume and she has done her part so well. Overall, 8.5/10 for me.
the reason I am eager to watch more of Jang Hyuk upon knowing that he is playing Bang Won, Yoo Ah In's character…
Same, its the reason why I am not dropping the drama yet. SFD is the only political drama that made me love a King's history/background. He's devilish yet he has his reasons, his own stand, and firm beliefs. Upon realizing that its the Lee Bang Won I know in this drama, I can easily figure out who will win the battle.
In my honest opinion, the drama is meh, average at best. And after watching 2 episodes, I can honestly say that the acting is really lacking. I had high hopes cause I though Yang Sejong is good at acting, saw him in few dramas and he's okay but probably, its more difficult to act in a historical set up. He was okay but not natural. And I didn't like the way they dressed/styled him so dirty, so poor like a beggar, I find his nest hair disturbing. I mean, a character can act poor and unprivileged but presentable at the same time. Woo Do Hwan's acting is nothing noteworthy either, same as Seolhyun. Their enunciation of words is pretty bad. I don't even just the way Seoulhyun calls a name, it doesn't fit much with the historical set up.
However, since I'm quite familiar with the storyline, you know this timeline is during Lee Bang Won's rebellion, I am a love of Six Flying Dragons and Yoo Ah In was playing the Lee Bang Won there. Seeing Jang Hyuk play the role of one of Yoo Ah in's outstanding character performance, makes me even more excited. I suggest you guys should watch Six Flying Dragons to understand deeply this drama.
In my opinion, the best swordsman fighting is from six flying dragons between Lee Bang Ji vs Gil Tae Mi.and second,…
Yes, the sword fighting skills in Six Flying Dragons are one of the best - you have Lee Bang Ji, Moo Hyul, Gil Tae Mi, Gil Son Mi, Cho SaGwang. Though I have to agree that Bidam should be up there.
I also thought the same but I just shrug it as part of acting towards Mukai or may he can't really directly looked…
yeah I understand but its inevitable since people will likely be that less interested if the drama doesn't have some added love line. I myself came to check and liked the drama because of the love line between Mukai and Yuriko - I just love them though I understand where you are coming from :)
