Zhao Jin Mai Episode 14. Her line delivery is great!! The highlight of that episode!!! And yeah, I have never really watched Zhang Ling He acting before but he is good too. Too bad he is dubbed.
I watched all three episodes and I am hooked! Guo Jing Ming, despite all his controversies, really has great eye. Anyway, I am surprised and glad that Yu Shu Xin is not acting her usual cute happy lead roles. It is definitely time for her to branch out and she is doing good so far. The supporting actors are all great as well. This is probably the 1st CDrama this year that excites me. 24 episodes is just right, hoping that the pacing will continue to be good.
Okay this drama started real slow and confusing. I have read the translated novel or else I'll be so lost.
On the other hand, don't know how and when they shot the drama, but school boy Lu Yan Chen and army/police guy Lu Yan Chen look different. The eyes, man! You can see that Lu Yan Chen has changed.
Jing Bo Ran and Tan Song Yun, these two no doubt will deliver. I am keeping my hopes up.
This series exceeds my expectation. A nice surprise for a fantasy drama. The actors casted were all just right. No acting holes, most actors used their own voice, funny but not stupid. There's still 1/3 episodes left and I hope the drama can wrap up nicely.
Watched this for Wang He Di but got Peter Ho. Aiyo!!! Peter Ho seems like he can't accept that he is aging and not suitable for these kind of role/drama. His heyday is over more that a decade ago.
As for those saying no chemistry. It's expected with Chen Yu Qi as the female lead. Her eyes are empty, no emotion whatsoever.
Subpar acting and choppy editing. I watched this because of Lennon. Found him cute on previous drama and he grew up and improved his acting. What's funny is, all the adults on this drama were dubbed and Lennon actually used his own voice.
Whoever edited this drama, I hope they get constipation for a year!!! ZYC and YBY both are holding this drama. Everyone is holding on due to the leads acting. Gaahhhhh!!! I'm so mad!!!
Can't believe that this is a low budget drama. They proved us that great dramas doesn't need extravagant production…
This. I think we are so used seeing Chinese idol dramas where the acting are mediocre (some bordering horrible), cringey and overly cute that we get so surprised seeing a web drama where the actors act well. I mean, the story is not without plot holes but most of us overlooked all that because the cinematography, acting and ost are just so well made.
As far as i know that was their real voice. https://youtu.be/HSNCyvdjFAg
It doesn't match because they changed the lines. Have to take note that 早恋 or dating while you are still in school in frowned upon in China. If you have watched Chinese high school drama, you can definitely see that there is no kissing, confirming of relationship while they are still in high school. All the kissing, dating happens after they graduated. Some line have to be changed if the sensor thinks its inappropriate. But here in this drama, they dubbed it over with the actors' real voice.
I adore Zhang Jia Ning. So when I saw the trailer, this became a must watch for me. And it didn't disappoint. It is a pity that iqiyi just released all episodes, it's either due to male lead's scandal or they just had no expectation for this drama.
Web drama like this is something china should make more, not just cute fluffy air-headed love story. Watch this drama, although you might need tissues towards the end. But the story, acting, cinematography and ost are beautiful. Not perfect but a good web drama to start 2022.
I was saving this drama to watch during 7 days quarantine. Day 2 and I finished all... Dang it!! This is a good sageuk to close the year. Beautiful and painful at the same time. I cried watching Deok Im and her friends. Their friendship is so so special. I cried watching Deok Im's life basically. Being a woman nowadays is tough, but imagine hundreds of years ago. Your life is never yours...
Hopefully they will published an english version of the novel. I would love to read it.
Chinese historical drama should learn from this. They either make low budget, no brainer romance historical or high budget women fight harem.
Ok I wish the synopsis is written better because this is not just another story about a spoiled princess and a Jin Yi Wei.
Liu Ling (the princess) has mental illness. She grew up in a broken/dysfunctional family. Her brash/outgoing/crazy personality is due her childhood and how her family treats her.
Shen Yan (our Jin Yi Wei Da Ren) is the 2nd son. He is cold and aloof but he is the one that can heal Liu Ling.
So, yeah I am hoping this drama stays quite true to the novel. Because Liu Ling's story is sad, deep and much more than spoiled/sassy princess they used to title this drama in english. No love triangle as far as i remember. 1st, 2nd and 3rd couple all have their love line. Zheng Ye Cheng and Merxat are brothers in the drama.
Gosh what an ending.... I'm crying so hard, l can feel headache coming. Bai Lu's acting so good. The sadness and despair in her eyes. I can't wait for the modern version. I need a cure from this heartbreak!!!
Currently on episode 3 and she is so in love with him already. And everyone in the whole wang fu is feigning ignorance on their attraction to each other. My heart hurts already.....
Zhou Si Yue's eyes is dripping with love... Both of the leads are just so adorable and their chemistry is top notch. Xu Meng Jie surprised me as I have never seen her act. I only know her as an idol but I will definitely looking forward to her acting project.
I need Lu Shi Yi in my life!!! He is so sweet and caring. But yeah, I agree Xiao Ju's one sided love is getting too long, too draggy. I think 36 episodes is not necessary, should made it into a 24 episode drama. Shi Yi and Xiao Ju's chemistry though, is love.
And yeah, I have never really watched Zhang Ling He acting before but he is good too. Too bad he is dubbed.
I'm in love with JinFan!

The only thing I hate is the dubbing. Why dub? Usually RJL & BL use their own voice though....
