I feel you! Plus after seeing the preview I feel we won't be seeing much progress in their relationship much in the next episode either so I'm feeling a little low because of that hunch :(

I didn't like how the Mother just stomped towards Hijiri. I understand that she's a "mother" who can't control her puberty hit son so she's going for the adult here but she's being WAY TOO apprehensive in her approach. But the preview shows that Hijiri takes some stand! That's character development!
Is this the drama where the supporting couple outshines the others? That's what I am hearing from the chatter below about ODG and NYJ. I recently saw an FMV that brought me here but I was surprised that they weren't the leads. I could easily watch a drama about them as I really related to NYJ.
Btw, how does ranking work on MDL? I see dramas that have a lower rating than CSN are higher in ranking and popularity. I mean, considering the amount of digital hype this show is getting, this deserves a ranking better than #99999 and popularity #2793. Does it have something to do with the number of viewers? That's what it feels like, since those dramas have viewers in thousands.
P.S I can't believe that on the basis of raws/subs we've caught up with the drama. Like, the 7th episode will air today and we have the raws up until the 6th episode! Of course the subs will be out soon but it's all thanks to the subbing and the uploading team out there. I still remember all of us used to wait so much for the raws, haha. Some people took to watching the hardcoded Chinese subbed raws or even those terrible quality live ones on YT. But, all in all, it's great that we've caught up! Really looking forward to see Akira and Hijiri together now. So much that I just want the time to hit the accelerator :P

I KNOW! I feel you! Plus I'm just a little disappointed that they've been apart for far too long. I mean episode 7 will air today and I'm sure because drama tropes tells me they'd probably meet by the end of the 7th episode. So it only gives us 3 episodes for their romance and for developing that they might take another full episode or two so we're just left with the last episode. They're gonna do that to us? After all the agony we went through waiting for this, fighting with people? (lol i made it look so dramatic). No but for real. I want to see their romance man. At this point, even as a film student, I don't give a shit about logical arrangement of storytelling, FAST FORWARD IT lolololol

That's where character development will come from. She can't wait for Akira to come, take her hand and bring her out to the world. I'd like it more if she does it on her own, voice her ideas/opinions out, talk about her feelings and most importantly take charge of what she really wants to do. Some stories tend to follow this overdone trope, so it's something I don't want from this drama. I hope we will get to see some genuine progress in her character as we are seeing in Akira.

Why did you have to say that? I can't wait to watch it, I am just holding myself from going crazy. I cannot stop thinking about the drama. I just want my finals to end so that I can binge watch it, that's the only thing stopping me from hitting the links online haha
