i watched all three seasons back to back... great series!
Hi! Just wanted to know something, the second season ended with Balsa and Chagum setting on their journey towards the Kambal Kingdom. I started the first episode of the third season today, but they're recapping something I didn't see before for example, Balsa and the Kambal King meeting and asking Balsa to defeat the Mountain King and stuff, when did all of that happen?
Thank you so much, @Levichan! Funny enough, my undergrad was in "science of communication" which means it gave…
I had an inkling that you could be a film student. No wonder, haha. It seems we are very much alike in this regard as even I took advertising as my forte during the course, although I lean more towards Media Planning/Copywriting/Accounts Servicing than visual arts, I'm not *that* creative. I too noticed the recurring motifs in this drama but not as much in depth as you did, especially the subtle showcase of entrapment through the use of shadows, that was clever. Really liked you article, looking forward to reading more from you! :)
I am a mass communication student so I also study films as part of it and it's my hobby to break the script into music, character, lights and camera movements and I am so glad that you dedicated an article on the visual prowess of this drama. What a great read your article was, it highlights your effort and keen perception.
I will not tolerate the death of the main leads. You can't go "lol 'life' happened" on me with their deaths. That would be chickening out on the writer's part at the nth moment and I will accept no justification if that really happens. The kind of path the writer has taken doesn't go towards the demise of our leads. The leads are healthy so they can't pull the "disease" card. Most probably, Akira's mom as she was hospitalized earlier due to burnout but otherwise I don't see why anyone else should die.
