Does any one know if drama fever or Viki is going to have this ?
wow, this sucks. They are still not available in Europe, I believe, so that's not faaaair!! Plus, I hear viki volunteers make much better/faster subs..
The first episode seems choppy and somewhat all over the place (I feel as though many people will understand how…
Yeah, I felt the same. Although I kept thinking whether it was because I had read the webtoon before... The way they handled time was a bit weird for me, you couldn't really understand what was in the past and what in the present.. it was kind of here and there.. But somehow I ended up watching the whole episode twice. I haven't done that in a while with a drama..
I do really like the feel of the drama and the leads and stuff. Especially how annoying Inha was :D lol. Looking forward to the next episode!
never thought Jiang Pei Ying,Mai Zhi and weirdo Zhen will be this cute & funny :)
I watched half of this show for Mai Zhi and the "weirdo" girl, who was not weird at all.. Skipped so many parts and got tired of most of the antiques of this show. Although I kinda liked it in the beginning. (Hated Mai Zhi and the other guy's fights about the girl tho)
I'm sorry if you think this is a "spoiler" but I think it needs to be openly noted going forward and…
I saw this a while back so anybody who remembers it better should correct me if I'm wrong :). But basically her character was the daughter of a rich business man who was supposed to invest into Naoki's dad's business and it was important.. So the rich businessman wanted Naoki to marry his daughter because Naoki is smart etc.. and otherwise he wouldn't invest into Naoki's dad's business. I remember the Tw version better so I think this is what happened there.. but they were pretty close to the original anyways. So, Kotoko also knew about this situation, which made the whole thing a lot better. IMO.
Anyways, if anybody remembers more facts or how it was exactly in the original, please correct me :D

I don't remember if there was her character in the Korean adaption but she's definitely there in the originals, but she's a bit different there, and the reason why she's there is also different. And the Taliw character actually knows what's going on..aahh.. shame..
How's Go Sung Hee's acting in this? I've heard a lot of negative things about her acting and i've also seen comments…
I am watching episode 5 as I'm writing it and was actually thinking of her acting. I think I have never seen her act before. So I can't compare her acting to anything she's done before, but I can't connect with her character at all. I kept thinking that maybe I could if she didn't look like a generic boring "beautiful" face (my standards for beautiful are rather different from this one) and/or would actually emote something then I would root for that character a lot more but I simply don't care about her character at all. Although everything is there for me to do so. Whereas the girl in Cruel City (written by the same writer, I believe) I could totally get behind the main girl (that actress could be considered a generic beautiful face too, so I'm not hating on those actresses :D), although sometimes she was being stupid, but that was ok.. ugh. I don't know :D sorry for the long rant. I was just mulling over it while watching this really long scene with her where I was supposed to care but I didn't. meh. Still like the show tho.
this is my unpopular opinion but....am I the only one who doesn't care about sun woo or his relationship with…
They mostly look cute together, which is not bad.. but.. They've decided to make this into an innocent, caring relationship that just doesn't have the pull on screen like other stuff does (khm JH - DS khm).
I think it's pretty much a confirmed thing that Jung hwan is the husband & I'm over the roof about it since I…
I don't like the second leads generally as well (One other time was My Girl with Lee Jun Ki - didn't finish that in the end) and I've been wondering why that happened to me in reply '94.. I've come to realise that maybe I just didn't connect with the actor or they didn't write it so that she actually likes him - I couldn't really see why she liked him so I couldn't get behind that story. Plus there's other reasons with Chilbongie and how they didn't treat him well in the story developments at all.. The show was such a tease.. :D But they're doing a much better job with this one :)

I have the same feeling. And then on another minute I feel like they are trying to trick me and I feel like I'm trying to trick myself into not believing that he's the husband because I don't want to be disappointed for him in the end. Lol. This is what happens if you watch Reply '94.. I get all confused and try not to be fixated on anything.
worth watching?... is it those typical love story comedic? i just know my bias watching this drama , so i'm thinking…
Reply '97 concentrated a lot on one of the romantic stories (the main leads) but this one is more about 4-5 families and deals with the parents and siblings as well. Plus, it has more lovelines than the previous ones. It's got your typical love triangle too plus some plot twists. There's also great characters and warm stories and happenings, with some excitement added to it. It gives me the fuzzies while watching, so I like it :D.

It's not at all your typical love story.. It's worth watching but it depends on what you look for in a drama. What exactly are you looking for? Plus, most of the episodes are 1h 40 min. If you're OK with that..
I have the feeling that Taek is the main lead while jung hwan will end up the second one.
Yeah, with this one lots of other characters get to be in the centre so it is not a story about a girl but all of the people in the neighbourhood. It's good.

Exactly as you say @vanillasalt. At first I liked how they had changed a characters a bit, to make them look more like human beings. But somehow during these past 5 episodes they have also lost their essence?? What gives? I was super annoyed about episode 19. Everything was still the same, it didn't even matter that maybe they had different conversations or what not (The most influencial words came from Turbo actually, and even that was like in the last 15 minutes or so..Ugh. I like this story a lot and I hate that they have failed to see what this is actually about (and it is NOT about a love triangle, is what I'm saying). With that said, I actually like Dan-and whatshername's interactions a lot more. So..
