I just finished Uncle. It's a heartwarming drama with quirky humour and sympathetic characters. I was invested, laughed and cried. 8.5

He's an intelligence agent in Lost Identity. That's one great drama but most people seem to have slept on it.

exactly, it made no sense. It's as if he had watched The Knockout and thought, oh no, writing letters to higher police admins will not help before 20 years have passed. (There are also other elements in The Punishment that are similar to The Knockout, like the village refusing to give up on its land)

Nothing extraordinary, but not bad either. Rather generic. Watched the first 6 eps.

Ep 1 was like a whole movie, without any filler scenes! Ep 2, also great. This drama is entertaining to the max.

Still not going downhill, still funny (at ep 14).

I really like the whacked, absurd humour of Uncle. Reminds me a bit of The Long Season, especially as Chen Ming Hao is in this drama too. He's such a presence. Although Uncle is not a thriller, we get our fair share of sympathetic small time gangsters (am currently at ep 9).

Me too. I'm at ep 14 and not really understanding. A lot of things happen without explanation. I swear I watched every minute but it feels like I've missed bigger chunks of it.

This one was good, suspense-filled and funny.
