Jinyoung popping up at the last episode was the best moment of the drama, he was delightful and I won't rack my brain with the plot holes.

Frankly, after the first episodes I found this boring most of the time. I regret sticking to it till the end. The "getting to know your parents better" strand was kinda nice. But all in all, for me was just a lukewarm very mediocre drama. I didn't like KDW's acting at all, his facial expressions were kinda off and odd and the romance was definitely one of the most cringey ones I've ever seen. People like this so much, good for them. For me, I should have spent my time re-watching more fantastic earlier dramas. People pls don't attack me for this is my genuine opinion, there are no right or wrong opinions. Everyone has the right to theirs. I see so much praise that I think it's kinda useful to know the balance is not all on the positive side.

I'm currently at ep 10 and wondered why I can't seem to be able to continue. FL was progressing to regain her own life but decides to keep being a saint - aka doormat in my dictionary. I came here to read the comments. So it's only going to get worse in the doormat section. BTW, I think punishment and anger ratings are wholly justified. When expectations formed in the beginning are badly let down by the writer and the overall philosophy sucks, 1-2/10 is a wholly justified rating. Another btw, I started watching Love Affairs in the Afternoon. It seems to have a different take on whether women should just throw their lives away for the sake of conformity. (btw, btw, btw, before writing this comment I blocked the "infidelity is a sin" zealots).

first someone declares a new drama as masterpiece and almost everyone just tags along. Even watching extreme violence without in-depth message (Bloodhounds). Under the Queen's Umbrella, Crash Course in Romance are good examples and Doctor Cha is pretty much in the same category: mediocre. I hope the ratings get more realistic with time - which has already happened here. Of course, just my opinion/observation.

this isn't really worth watching. but I guess I'll try to finish anyway. I liked the Best Hit so much, that's why I started this. But it's inferior in so many ways. The Ateez boys do well in the drama, considering they're all rookies. The female lead is a major problem, this type of female character that has as much charisma as air and hides her face under heavy bangs and her body under unstylish clothes is a major irritation for me. Not hating the actress, but the FL type. I could never understand why producers go for the type, maybe they think it's relatable for young women. The problem is there is zero reason, in my eyes, why the charismatic SHAX star would have fallen for her. I'd much preferred the charismatic and stylish Park Ji Yeon as the FL, for me, she's relatable. They make her to be the bitch here, what a pity since she deserves more roles.

The best thing in this drama is Choi Jin Hyuk as the sad and lonely zombie. His acting is excellent. Otherwise, it's entertaining but not anything very special. The investigated cases are interesting, particularly in the beginning. However, the support characters are all quite boring/irritating, and I skipped more and more scenes with them towards the end. If this had been longer, I doubt I would have been able to finish it. 7.5

The first 4 episodes are intense but then the whole thing comes to a halt. Just endless flashbacks, threats and similar scenes repeating. I can't stand the villain anymore, so going to drop here, at ep. 6. I can't see how this could merit 19 (!!!!) episodes.

She decides in the last minute of the last episode. Of course it's Sung Hoon but I as I watched I rooted for Kim Jong Hoon just as much, he was that good. His singing voice is extraordinary and I don't understand why he didn't have more main roles after this one.
