Exactly. The kissing scene was passionate, and the actress is 14 years old.
I've watched Caspar Noe's Love in a movie theater but it's obviously not for this community and needn't be

How many times have we seen adult actors and actresses do fake kisses in dramas? Or fish kisses? They've set boundaries that they are comfortable with. And here, a 14 year old child has to do a same sex passionate kiss. It was off, no matter how much we support gay rights. And I do. It's just that western dramas have a mandatory minority representation (race, sexual) in every drama and it gets tiresome and irritating on the long run. K-drama is not Disney -level wokeist yet. I hope it'll never be. It is not homophobia to say so. Real life is real life, dramas are dramas.

Kids do kiss at that age and it's normal. So why wouldn't normal life be shown in films if even killing is?
woke: when you're so open-minded that your brain falls out.

Goblin, 2521, Our Blues. Woke has problems, can't watch.

Woke can't have an older man kiss a young girl but can have 14 year old kiss another girl.

The thing has been pointed out, that a drama is a drama and real life is real life. I do things in real life which I don't like to watch in dramas, necessarily.

You must understand that woke people freak out when actress is 18 or under and male counterpart is older. (As in, 2521, the kiss scene was condemned by many)

Female action heroes, working single moms, strong woman - needy man relationship, relatable grounded female leads - it's all been already done, in Good Casting. I don't think Kill Boksoon deserves merits for feminism, or is novel in potraying a female assassin (remember, Naksu)

So Yeon: "platoon commander is my type. The other guys lack mature charms" Girl, are you from a corn field? Because…
Most people in this world are good. 99 %. In the real world. I'm stunned by the worldview, you're not the only one. The platoon commander is a very good man indeed.

My honest HONEST opinion. So basically the drama overall is okay. I would say it's definitely not realistic as…
One of the eternal mysteries. Same thing in many horror genre dramas. The Guest is even worse. A monster is coming at you and they just stand there paralyzed.

homophobic idiot ong
OMG she's 14. If this was a mature guy (18) kissing a 14 year old what do you think would happen. Everybody would need therapy immediately. Do I trust the director to have handled this well, no I don't. There's something off about the portrayal. I say it's programmatic, not organic. For me, I'm just fed up with the mandatory minority representation in every drama having had to watch it take over western dramas. I know more minority people in real life than anyone here but it's woke to call people homophobes. It'll take years for these kids to get sick of woke since k-drama is not all there yet.
On Duty after School: Part 1 Apr 2, 2023
Best to watch with zero expectations and just enjoy the ride. Intense drama, created its own world very well. I got immersed in it. That's the main thing. Illogicalities and plot holes are quite big, but that's part of the genre. And this is obviously not for sensitive people and the suspense can be too much a times. But I enjoyed it, although I'm not even a fan of the genre. 8/10
On Heart Surgeons Apr 1, 2023
This an engaging suspenseful medical drama. Although I skipped a lot of the surgery scenes, I still would recommend this. Don't know why this has so few viewers, it's quite good. Well written, great actors. Incidentally, I watched the Defendant by the same writers at the same time as this. The Defendant is even better, but both are intelligently written and way above average dramas.

oh kinda like in Snowdrop right?
I know. That's what the book I mentioned is about. Youth of May portrays chaebol families too which is not to my liking in this particular historical context.
