Yes agreeing to all other points except Soul Mechanic is pretty realistic about mental health problems and still not depressing. The writing here is not any better than What's Wrong With Secretary Kim from the same writer (I didn't like WWSK at all). I don't know how it's possible for people to ignore ott acting and aegyo, I have low tolerance of both. But then again I suppose most people don't mind.

What a great drama (9.5/10). Everything was perfect, script, directing, acting, pacing. Not a boring moment. No unnecessary violence or gore (so popular these days). Kim Sun Ah was phenomenal in how she could portray the little child screaming inside an adult woman. I didn't know Lee Yi Kyung could be this good. In-depth look into child abuse, without a black and white portrayal of characters.

Expect a lot of character development and a happy ending. This is that type of drama. Tbh the murderous aunt is too over the top, so I guess this won't be as good as CLOY (same writer).

This is so funny! Totally on board! Writernim has written many of my all-time favorites CLOY, My Love from the Star, Legend of the Blue Sea and The Producers! Kim Soo Hyun's family inheritance of 30 cows and a calf and "cute when drunk" antics totally had me cracking up!

The humour is cringey and PHS is overacting. It's nice that they are really living for the first time in their lives but too much cringe is a letdown. The writer is the same as What's Wrong With Secretary Kim and I found that drama rather silly and old-fashioned tbh, same feeling with Doctor Slump. I don't know, when a writer is all for audience service and pleasing and simultaneously tries to address mental health problems it just doesn't sit right with me. I don't think you really missed anything. Those episodes 3-6 were not as good as this is now.

The Crowned Clown had a happy ending so I'm very trusting that this one has a happy ending too. Same writer.
