YYS is top excellence as he drove the drama -- Even though CSB is female lead she gets Excellence. If her character was written more better and her character had shown more impactful acting like he did she would also be up for Top excellence -- If the other two main actors (psychiatrist and announcer) weren't new comers they could be nominated for Excellence, not Top excellence. Everyone else is Supporting cast
I guess you can say Best actor/actress is like under Grand Prize or in some other award shows the "Director choice award". And it isn't given often. It's not a person's popularity, it's the actor who's acting brought popularity to a show that made it do well and have impact... --- Byun Yo han isn't really hugely popular, but people know he can act. His drama "Black out" wasn't doing well until the holiday(Chuseok) when word-of-mouth got people watching. And it was his acting that got lots of attention, thanks to him a good drama wasn't ignored. It's not an easy show to watch but ratings increased a lot. And drew attention on OTT platforms. -- He was also up for Grand prize here.
Isn't it like the bare minimum for an actor to prepare for their role though?
It depends on what action she will do. You can go and overcome fear of jumping off high places or make it look natural. But props to her tho she seems serious about improving her acting. A month is long to wait to watch this

They give out awards for PD and writer and I think "best drama" award includes everything (directors, camera, ost..) when a separate award isn't handed out.
MBC usually has categories based on the dramas they have for the year so some awards are skipped over and some times theres more. (achievement, scene stealer, golden award, etc)

Romance can be acted /written differently too. Like most people nowadays see rom-coms as youthful and for younger actors since most of the viewers are younger. But I feel older actors doing romance is better in the direction of love and more deep. So I’m for older actors doing romance as long as it’s not cringe or childish …that I would be okay with for younger actors if that makes sense
They said the drama is suppose to be light even thought the topic isn't and they seem to have done that with Choi Hwa Ran. So it made her stand out even more. Sometimes in other dramas her character would have been loud/extra/annoying but it works here. She's a blast and Ioved her laugh. Yuri and Go soo carried their parts great. Not many actresses doing action scenes so props to Yuri, you did well. Thanks to all the supporting actors too. This isn't really a case by case per 2 ep drama it's more one picture of revenge so the pace is fine imo.
I think this is the writers first project and he did a good job. Overall I give it a 8.5/10 the only things that would made it higher would be through writing and directing. Like the villian could have been more intense/psychopathic. The actors all acted well and they felt like a team, wish it was 16 ep.

Season 2 please!!!!! this drama was soo good. All actor worked so hard even in the freezing cold and all acted they characters well. This team deserves a S2
hmm.. I don't really like when a drama's talks focus just ends up being about romance/couple/kiss . Since the drama has a story to tell (not just being a romance drama) and as of now I don't know how the second half is gonna carry the momentum of the first half. It's kinda of loose right now. Still too early to say how I fully feel about the drama.
Idk I just hope this doesn't drag or have a disappointing rushed ending.
I dropped Fiery Priest 2 i'll go back when it finishes this season isn't as good as S1 imo.
Lady Ok is good just hope that they fill 16 ep. well the first 3 episode went by fast and dramas that start off like this tend to disappoint towards the mid-end for me
Im hearing the child actors in Love your enemy being talked about more then the adult actors but I don't think i'll start this until it's done.
