Don't understand why people are trying to simmer this down to his personal life. I mean you seem to understand that plot of his movie doesn't even sounds interesting. That's why people aren't watching/enjoying his films. His acting has also been the same in each movie he was in he has shown nothing new...Plus most talk about his "flops" are in relation to his movies not dramas. Reborn rich was LSM and the supporting cast hard carry. Vincenzo was the only project of his that he did well...Maybe if he came back with that type of role it would do good..
Most Korean films are flopping cause they aren't well written to the end and they aren't interesting just like his movies. When other movies even animations are pulling in pretty good numbers his movies haven't. Also this isn't just him you're just seeing articles about him. Wonderland had tons of Korean article about it pretty much flopping and using BS and PBG to market the movie when it wasn't really about them. But even then there was nothing wrong with the acting of any actor in wonderland it was just boring. The actor all did their parts well. Same with other movies. His movies are what it is a flop cause it wasn't interesting enough to reach BE, pointing that out is part of every actor's career too.

There are so many upcoming dramas it seems like they want to have more show to air and actors to cast so they are keeping it short. People on both sides (long vs short) so looks like now the people who like shorter dramas are happy.
