Suddenly stumbled into this show and found a couple of people I know 😆 this is my first time watching Love…
Next, I'm rooting for Suwon-Haneul. They surely like each other from the start. However they have different pace in dating. Suwon likes it fast and sure, Haneul is more careful and likes it slow. Given only one week, it's hard to give her heart to a man she just met with the possibility he is a money catcher. With five men and five women, it's totally fine to try to date or get to know others. But these two are like the fix pairing, everyone knew. Ep 4 explained a lot. The main problem is Suwon wanted Haneul to try things and follow his lead, but Haneul was overthinking. They didn't communicate well that eventually made them upset. Of course Haneul cried seeing Suwon suddenly changed his heart.
Communication is important but somehow they couldn't convey their feelings. They didn't say what they want. Suwon said things he didn't mean and it hurt Haneul even more. Jimin did great by trying to cheer her up and push them to talk. Seeing the next ep, Jimin might use this chance to chase Haneul. Jimin is unpredictable. He likes Haneul, but didn't make a move, yet he didn't care about other girls too. Haneul is interested in Jimin, but currently it's 20:80 to Suwon. Haneul is comfortable with Jimin bcs she doesn't like him as much as she likes Suwon.
Suddenly stumbled into this show and found a couple of people I know 😆 this is my first time watching Love Catcher and I was shocked by the rules. First, seven days is SUPER SHORT! Second, they have to move fast and choose their desired partner. Third, elimination!
Well, have some questions. Do they kiss each other, there are any unhealthy relationships in here? And is the…
There are some kiss scenes, but don't expect too much 😂 for unhealthy relationship, the emperor and Tilan started with hatred and abuse, it was toxic, but later they became the most romantic couple out of three couples. For the fantasy, it's not the main point of this drama.
Yup, he was. I wonder when he had the change of heart. I guess after talking to Haishi when Tilan was very sick.…
Well they cut 7 eps so a lot of footage gone to waste 😭 during the badge carving Xu was bothered by Tilan (she's weak but stubborn). But the first turning point was when he was drowned, he started to see her differently. It was obvious he started to care for her, while she was still scared of him until she saw him regularly to read letters. Of course the abuse and rape couldn't be forgotten, but he completely changed and devoted himself for her. If viewers skip their scenes, they won't understand and only bad memories remain. Same with Jianming. Some viewers only see him as an emotionless man, but it's interesting to see how he changes from time to time bcs of Haishi.
Such a shame. The emperor has the best character development in this drama after he accepted Tilan as his new…
Of course. Different people different taste. If this drama can't get your attention then don't force yourself. Might be someday you decide to rewatch this. Who knows? I actually don't like this kind of heartbreaking drama, but I like it anyway 😊
I thought their pictures were already uploaded 🤦♀️ you can upload them yourself if you want 👍🏻
Done! Why didn't you save them? 😭 the HD pictures are in weibo and I can't find the link bcs it was shared last month. I saved some beautiful stills and thinking of uploading them one by one.
Yup, he was. I wonder when he had the change of heart. I guess after talking to Haishi when Tilan was very sick.…
I watched CXY interview. She said Tilan knew there is a good loving man inside considering how much Xu loved Zizan. After they became closer she started to understand him. She said Tilan is afraid of him, but also respects and likes him. The reason she forgave him fast bcs she already fallen for him. XKC also said how the emperor tried to understand her and slowly accepting her. Remember when Xu started to be more relax, playful and happier (before the rape)? Even Mu Deqing could feel it. He just didn't know what to do. But indeed it was bcs Haishi advised him to accept Tilan. CXY also said Zizan was like a mother figure, while Tilan is the cure to his broken heart.
I had to drop this after 15 eps. 1, Emperor and Tilan relationship. Depressing. 2. Haishi admired by everyone…
Such a shame. The emperor has the best character development in this drama after he accepted Tilan as his new love, which is ep 25. He will be the one who helps Haishi and Jianming with their relationship, also becomes a loving husband to Tilan. Haishi succeeds in battle, but not in love. She needs to gain merit to be able to serve under the emperor and to stay beside Jianming.
Actually every couple has a third wheel. A marquis's son fell in love with Haishi, a spy fell in love with Jianming, a general from Dazheng fell in love with Tilan since they were kids, a princess from Huku fell in love with Zhuoying. But none of these made impact on the couples. More like guest appearances? 😅
Well he saw it with his own eyes how Tilan suffered. He also knew how the emperor treated her before. He didn't know the next story so he blindly believed what Suolan said, especially after seeing the pendant. Feel bad for him but he is a dumb indeed 🤦♀️
I watched "A Female goes to the imperial college" with Zhao Lusi and XKC...and it's in my #2 spot now of my FAVORITE…
The thing is I hate Zhao Lusi 😅 even when I watched The Long Ballad, I skipped her scenes. I watched Xu Kaicheng on Dance of the Phoenix. He's gorgeous in there, but with the female lead, they look like uncle and niece, not a couple 🙄 that's why I love his chemistry with Chen Xiaoyun here. might be bcs their age gap too.
Now since it has ended, I need to heal my heart by rewatching sweet moments in this drama. For sure I will never watch a teacher-student relationship cdrama again bcs it will never end well.
I had a nice time discussing and sharing thoughts with some of you ❤
I watched this drama bcs of Yang Mi and Xu Kaicheng. If not, I won't even have any interest. This will be my first and last time I watch Novoland, unless Chen Yuqi acts in it (which is hardly) 😅 now I have to wait for months until Mirror Twin Cities and Memory of Encaustic Tiles air 😴
1. HS must have send the mermaid in different carriage..The one she drove must be empty..Since FangShi jumped…
Isn't it supposed to be 1 emperor 1 baixi? Jianming shouldn't be able to be baixi again. It doesn't make sense. The writer wanted to make Jianming survives and there we go.
I still can't believe Shaozi is a spy. So in the novel he was the one who stabbed the emperor but Jianming died instead bcs he is still a baixi? Then how did the emperor die? If he is a spy from Su Ming, is that mean Su Ming is alive until the end in the novel? Then I wonder if the writer didn't want to make Shaozi as the villain in the drama and changed it to Suolan 🤔
I didn't come back from work at midnight and stay up till 2am to see the ending like this. 😌😌At first I…
The ending goes back to start. History repeats. Jianming became baixi again, living in the shadow again, all the efforts spent went in vain 😭 I don't know why people are satisfied with this. After 48 eps we go back to the start! 😭 I have to heal my heart by watching ep 45-46 for the happy ending.
1. HS must have send the mermaid in different carriage..The one she drove must be empty..Since FangShi jumped…
Which is why I don't like the ending at all 😭 first XuLan died, their baby was born prematurely. Jianming had to be baixi again. Then he's living in the shadow again. How come everyone is satisfied with it? 😭 this is not an open ending, the drama goes back to the start. All the efforts spent went in vain 😭 that's why I want to think of ep 48 as the alternate ending while ep 46 is happy ending.
They've been talking about Shaozi is actually a spy 😥 is that why he went missing during war? Then when he appeared again he looks perfectly fine, no wounds or blood whatsoever. This part is a mystery.
1) I was dying to know. looks like we won't find out. Someone mentioned that there were scenes of them burrying…
No, I didn't mean by "pleasure". I mean why the writer made them consummate again if she is pregnant at that time, even drank wine. That can only mean (the writer wanted to show) she isn't pregnant, but the mermaid can forsee the future that Haishi will get pregnant.

I don't know if I should be happy that in the drama Shaozi is shown as a good guy now I know in the novel he is a spy.
Anyway thanks for the confirmation!
