Episode 7 is just dumb, there's no other word to describe it. Why can't people communicate? I know it's for the sake of entertainment, that's why it's called a drama, but I think there's a limit to where people can believe these stories. ML was shown to us being the most loyal puppy to FL until this episode, where the crazy girl lies to him, and out of nowhere he was doubting FL? lmao, what shitty writing, seriously. That's why the world is the way it is today, people prefer to be ignorant and dumb instead of communicating properly and believing facts.

Episode 6 is one of the cringest things I've ever watched wtf. All of that just because of some bullying? dude, grow up or beat the shit out of that bullier lol. Knowing kdrama I would be shocked if they start being friends again (sarcasm lol). Their acting was pretty decent at least, but sigh...

I watched it a while back, if you're interested here are some cons: annoying and pointless love triangle till half of the drama, bossy FL when their supposed relationship starts, she starts hitting the ML and saying bad things not to let the village people know for the sake of "entertainment"(?) (apparently it was supposed to be a funny thing, comedy?) and a break-up in the 14th episode because this is a kdrama lol.
I love Shin Min Ah tho.

Worst thing I've ever watched, I regret it so much. FL, a selfish bitch who thinks she's a victim, hated her throughout the entire drama, worst "redemption" arc I've ever seen. She says "sorry, I shouldn't have doubt you back then", ah yes, you decided to trust the rumors instead of your own boyfriend and the only thing you can do is say sorry. Not to mention episode 12, "let's break up, it's for your own good. I doubt you back then and betrayed your feelings, making you looking like shit. Now I'm doing again because I'm too selfish and I can't bear the fact that i did that", f*ck you bitch.
I'm not gonna even bother to say much about ML, your typical forgiven guy who can't hate anyone and acts like a simp.

Never ever gonna watch a drama with Kwak Dong Yeon in the cast anymore.

Episode 12. I punched my wall so hard that my fist hurts now. Fuck this drama, utterly garbage, what a disgusting writing this is. This fucking bitch FL dare to say "let's break up" after all the shit she did to ML, and he is not that innocent either. I also hate him now, how can he be this forgiven to her? Dumb simp. The more I watch the more I think SML and FL were made for each other, two disgusting human beings.

I'm on episode 6 and this is the most frustrating drama I've ever watched. Seriously, is there anyone who actually liked this FL? It engross me every moment she appears in the drama. The writers really thought it would be a good idea to design a character for us to hate and later on showing that she was the one who was hurt? What kind of bullshit is this ffs I want to bang my head on the wall.

40 episodes? that's too much. Ji Chang Wook is the only reason I watched all this shit for. There's only one word that I can describe this drama, garbage. Why you may ask, well, whenever I see people romanticizing cheating I feel disgusted, SFL and SML are the worst human being in this story. With all that said, I wouldn't recommend this to anyone, cheating is one of the most disgusting things ever, therefore 1/10.

People said "watch it, it's very funny, stress relief, you won't stop laughing", why do I even bother? I'm even more stressed and angry after watching only one episode, that FL, fucking bitch, I despise her, selfish bit... deep sigh. I can't understand why people find any form of bullying funny, maybe they have some loose screws. Maybe I'm the weird one.

Totally agree with you. Netflix seems desperate about the dropping of subscribers, this drama was clearly planned to not be split in two parts, they are just hungry for money at this point.

Damn you, Netflix. I guess they're really desperate with the drop in subscribers to pull this "part 2" bullshit on every show now huh. Let's see if part 2 of this one keeps up the good pacing and story, which I doubt. If there's one thing I wish for in this drama is romance (don't call me out, Lee Do Hyun is clearly there to be her support from now on) and at least a happy-ish ending, my girl Dong Eun suffered too much at the hands of those f*ckers, I want to see them begging and crying blood.

That's exactly my point, I saw some people saying that the manhwa is some kind of school gangs fighting each other to see which school is the top 1, dumb and cringe af to be honest, looks like an even bad version of Tokyo Revengers. That's why I pointed out these two things about the ending, it went from "realistic" bullying story to high school kids playing mafia.

I actually liked the drama, the fights, and the story (till the very end), and the characters are good, but the transferring school at the end and the post-credit scenes... deep sigh, definitely not gonna watch a second season if there is one.
If you ignore these two points and imagine the ML dropping out of school, it gives you an even more bittersweet kinda ending which could have been more "realistic" from the overall point of view, which combines with the heavy atmosphere of the drama. I don't know, it just felt like a slap in the face, maybe I'm the only one who feels this way, but I just wanted to share my thoughts on this.

5 episodes, that's my limit. First, the FL wishes for some unforgettable love then she keeps being a jerk with ML even though she desired it (wow who could've imagined), look bichi, just decide what you want once and for all, "strong" female lead my foot, she's just selfish in a bad way. He's the oh-so-great with an immensurable ego and pride who can do everything yet he's like a puppy in a femdom relationship, truly disgusting to be honest. Argh, my brain hurts, wish I could forget this crap I just watched.

Be careful what you wish for.

Not gonna lie, I skipped some episodes, especially those that weren't related to Hyun and Young Joo's story. Their story is easily the best imo, wish I could see more of them and their baby. Their dad's part was really emotional also, their feelings felt so real, and I cried a lot with them.

I followed the advice from a reviewer to watch till episode 35 and skip to ep 40 last 10 minutes because of some 180° personality changes from both main characters (actually got spoilers to see if it was that bad... and yes, it is.), but just decided to stop at ep 27 and skip to the finale, and it was okay, to say the least. Kinda liked the ML personality here, a bit different from other young male/older female dramas, he's not that naive and a crybaby, more of an introvert which I tend to like more. FL here does the job well, but she doesn't show too much affection towards ML, giving me the feeling that she didn't care that much, yet she has her cute moments with him, but for the most part of the drama, I sensed the "indifferent"/"I don't care" vibe from her (I felt the same way with the previous cdrama I watched about young male/older female :/)
To not be all negative, kudos to the writers for not including angst or some kind of "I don't think we match, I'm too old for you" trope, which is common in this type of drama and really annoys me.

They get together pretty earlier, in episode 3 to be more specific, due to some circumstances. If you like mature characters that actually act like one (except some in-laws), with a great (in my opinion) romance, give it a try. I'd say it's one of the best cdramas out there, currently on my 3rd watch.
About being a slow burn, I don't think so. The drama gives enough time for the characters to understand each other, given the fact that they barely knew one another (the reincarnation part doesn't play a big role here). For a 30 episodes drama, I'd say it is worth the "slowness", by episode ~10 they are already much more connected.

It was on my radar, but the fact it is 40 episodes gave me off, what do you mean by disappointing? I saw the "ex-boyfriend comes back" tag and I immediately see a red flag, not a fan at all of love triangles. I don't mind spoilers tho.

Finished episode 2, but dropped. I can foresee all things that going to happen here, the "doctor" guy is the bad one, and they will play catch with him till the end of the drama, clearly, this is on purpose, but I'm not interested in how they will manage 16 episodes os this boring play. Also, I can't handle these righteous characters with their utopic ideals, ML says he won't help FL but 2 mins later he's like "ok imma help ya cuz idk". Not to mention the FL with her oh-so-right ideal that makes me sick.

Nobody is a saint, but I think ML was misunderstood by the other characters, let alone us (not me included), viewers. He went through so much in his past as the drama shows us, I guess it makes total sense to his fierce, realistic view of the world, meanwhile, the FL was pampered by her parents thus the annoying (IMO) behavior most of the time, and the Princess nickname.

I could say yes, we can measure suffering as the drama shows us ML's past hence his actions compared to FL, which lived a good life.

It's not that she isn't supposed to be mean, but she knew his personality, yet she stood up for her ideals and got "hurt" in the process, making me see as if all that happened was because of him, which wasn't.

Dropping out is not a demerit to not date someone, as the drama shows us, both of the main characters have flaws, yet they got together in the end despite their differences. It's just me putting myself in his place, why would I bother to adapt to someone life style just to date them? That's why I see Ren Di as the "perfect" match for him, their view of the world seem alike, as their goal, and the most important in my opinion, most of the time, they stand up for their principles, which impression the FL didn't pass to me.

And well, you could say that FL also left him, she went abroad of her own will, and nobody trapped her in the car and forced her to enter the plane with a gun pointed out to her head.
