i started Ep1 and had to stop, but when i come back and see the comments and rating im always surprised and wonder…
the high rating and love for this drama has less to do with it's quality and more to do with the feeling of satisfaction it gives the viewers.

People are enjoying it because our team came out the dugout winning. i don't think anyone's really taking stock or notice of the subpar writing, acting etc anymore.

we're being entertained

Why should I try to understand it from a different pov when it doesn’t matter what I think🤷🏾‍♀️

And you say the usage of drugs is what creates the market for it and I say the criminalization of drugs is what created the market and risks we currently have.

i don't take the criminalization of drug use seriously regardless of whether the person is famous or not. You shouldn't be locked up and have your career destroyed because you do drugs-you should get help.

prison isn't a fix all -in fact, prison doesn't fix anything at all, it oftentimes worsens it.

drug use harms the user so unless they're out here dealing hard drugs, I don't think it's right that such extreme punishment is doled out.

it would make more sense for them to be sentenced to mandatory drug counseling rather than locking them up with actual (possibly violent) criminals-and prison isn't exactly a drug-free zone.

Not to mention if someone is struggling with hard drug use (not weed lol), destroying their career and path to return seems counterintuitive cause now I'll definitely need to get high to get through my bleak days as I watch everything I've worked for be taken away.

Laws are meant to help citizens/society but petty laws like this just punish people for punishment sake.

Title Homesick Spoiler
This girl just keeps getting people killed. The things she does are so idiotic. I hope she gets some jail time…
who did she get killed? there are 4 dead people by the end of this drama and none of their deaths can be attributed to her. Li WenWen was murdered 13 years ago, Xiaoxu's murder is what brought her to town, Wang Chong Jiang's murder was a result of the grudge and hate that festered in that rotten man and Liao Sui Fang's murder had nothing to do with her. if we count that last guy as dead, even that isn't her fault-he was always going to be in such a situation due to his wanting revenge so she didn't make him, she just changed the purpose of his inevitable confrontation from murder to justice.

None of these people died because of her and ironically, she was the least idiotic person in this entire show from start to finish. Things took bad turns usually due to the rash decisions of others not usually her.

Stupid characters, stupid plot, great acting though! Did anyone understand who was the guy in the monkey mask…
his identity was only relevant due to who his cellmate was re the little girl's fate. I believe he was also the guy who rents out his freezer space. We don't need to know more about him as it's not pertinent to the story-he's a pervert who got caught.

Hiding, misunderstandings, disappointment... Why do they always have to make it sound so dramatic? XDHe is a grown-up…
say it louder for the people in the back cause the relationships with idols/actors in Korea and their fans/the public is honestly unsettling.

I feel like if you look closely in their contracts, you'd find a small stipulation that says they lose their rights as humans and will exist only as a commodity for the enjoyment of strangers. and if you see section a, you'll find that said strangers have the right to control their personal lives as well in any way they please

Wait why are there two pages for this series? Is there a part 1 and part 2?https://kisskh.at/755949-saeraenadae
I think maybe someone added it and another person didn't see that it was already added so they added it as well. So, there's a duplicate.

I totally agree with you. I recently just found out my kid's cartoon (from US) has LBGTxyZ scene in it.. although…
Did it cease to be a kids show because there was LGBTQ representation in it? You don't have anything against it, but you would rather pretend they don't exist. Ya'll never get on your soapbox about what's inappropriate for a kids show when it's showing a heterosexual relationship/interaction. People like this find a heterosexual "love story" between kids as something cute or adorable but when it's a same-sex relationship, suddenly it becomes "inappropriate" or something sexual. You pervert innocence and are the ones sexualizing the kids. You asked if it was necessary to "have the LBGTxyZ scene" in a kids show- yes, cis-gendered and heterosexual kids get to grow up with their identities being reaffirmed by society and the media (shows, movies, music, books etc.), why shouldn't others be afforded the same privilege and right? It's not a mind control device-your kids aren't being influenced to be gay, or queer or trans... they're simply learning that there's nothing abnormal about those identities.

First of all, is paying for sex illegal in China? Or it's just that Chinese entertainers should be this paragon…
Prostitution is illegal in the U.S too. It's not about being a "paragon of sainthood" so much as it's meant to deter or at least lessen sex slavery/trafficking??? While I fully support sex work and sex workers, we cannot pretend that there isn't an abhorrent number of unwilling victims being sold and forced into prostitution. A lot of "pimps" get girls hooked on drugs and physically abuse them in order to keep them compliant. This is one of the reasons that prostitution is illegal in most places.

Before, we used to punish all parties involved. But now, there's less focus on punishing the sex worker and more on the abusers and users and there's nothing wrong with that.

I do not agree that all "johns" need to be criminalized-The difference for me comes down to consent. Whether the sex worker is a minor, being forced to participate, does not have the mental capacity to consent (drugged etc.) all play a part in whether I believe the "john" should be charged.

Anyway, to answer your question simply, sex work isn't just illegal in China and it's not an unfathomable idea that one's career could suffer a blow from it.

Why is that weird? He’s not that much older than her, they’re not related. Just because you used to know someone…
I've also never killed anyone before, but I can take a stance that murder is wrong, no? What kind of logic is this that one can't have an opinion on the wrongness or rightness of a situation or act if they themselves have not experienced it or been a party to a similar situation?
