you prefaced your thoughts on the season with “personally”…so, you understand you’re sharing your opinion and only yours. Just like they’re sharing their opinion and only theirs
Criticism is not negativity, nor is it strange - telling someone they can’t be honest about how they feel about something is.
People are allowed to dislike a story and they’re allowed to say as much.
I’ve never understood this need to police opinions on a story such that no criticism is allowed.
Thousands, possibly millions viewed this drama - the likelihood that we all had the same viewing experience is slim to none.
If you like it, say so. if you don’t like it, say so.
what you’re asking is literally antithetical to reviewing any work. If all we’re allowed to give is praise, then what’s the point of a review?
The only rule (if there ever was one) is to be honest.
You’re so defensive as if its success (or other’s praise of it) pays your bills.
You snapping isn’t going to change how I feel so don’t waste your energy in the future.
I will now go on to watch my boring romance dramas✌🏾
I shouldn’t need to read the source material to have an appreciation for a drama. If the drama couldn’t do that on its own, then I should say as much and leave it at that.
what you’re saying might be true (for all I know) but what Netflix is saying might also be true. you’re not the ones people will believe and that matters with propaganda.
