Kim Go Eun held her own opposite such seasoned actors and actresses in Goblin. Her character was bright and resilient. If Eun Tak in Goblin was truly selfish, she would have taken a ton of money and taken the sword out for Goblin when he asked. But she was a compassionate person and completely selfless when it counted. Deok Hwa was a much more selfish character in comparison. He rented out Goblin's place and bought a sports car, but I don't see people hating on him for being self centered.

These are really good 10/10 recommendations. Thirty but Seventeen has such a great sense of humor. And Romance is a Bonus Book is light romance done right.

I hear you. I can't believe they let such a poorly edited episode air. It really was an educational experience, like you've said. Strong post production is so important to create a quality drama.

Whoa sold. This is the last time I let MDL ratings dissuade me from giving a drama fair chance. Thanks for this list ^^

Yep, it was way, way, way extra, and just too freaking long. I stopped watching the drama because of that never ending over the top train sequence. Then a couple of days later, when I couldn't find a thing to watch, I went back to the episode, and it improved a bit in episode 2 (counting half hour episodes). But then, there was the hospital chase sequence in episode 3, it was hella over the top too. We'll probably see this type of dynamic play out in this drama a lot.

Two of my favorite people, Shin Hye Sun and L. Can't wait for this. Shin Hye Sun has been perfect in every role she's taken on. She was glorious in Stranger, My Golden Life, Thirty but Seventeen and Hymn of Death. L played the stoic and grumpy judge quite well in Miss Hammurabi. The PD directed Healer. It's the writer's second drama, I haven't watched the first one. Please don't let this team down, writer-nim. Fighting!

Oh, it's just lazy writing then, the story meandering pointlessly in the first half and then jumping by bounds and leaps at the end. That's a bummer.

Ah yes, I forgot about the lawyer reporting the doctor. At least there's that. Agreed, the acting is flawless, specially by the main leads. It's the writing that could have done better.

Same for me. She was away from home for all of one episode and that was deemed punishment enough for her. Both she and the eye doctor should have faced criminal charges. The value of the drama took a real dive for me due to this.

Same, on all your points. I'm low-key disappointed at the rushed ending. If they hadn't wasted so many episodes with little to no story progression in the first half of the drama and had a balanced pacing throughout. Oh well, at least I made it till the end.

I think originally, the drama was supposed to have 50 episodes, but was later reduced to 40, and that made the last half so crazy rushed.

Solid episodes this week. Loving the melo family oriented vibe of this drama. Sticking with this drama for all these weeks is finally paying off. I'm really rooting for the main leads and the second leads.

Preach. So much truth in what you've said. Sunk cost fallacy and escalation of commitment sadly describes way too many of my drama relationships.

Since the main characters in the drama have a big age difference, it'd be weirder if the actors were closer in age. They've addressed the character's backstory and age difference in episode 2. I'd recommend you give it a chance, and then decide.

The screenwriter of this drama also wrote "Five Enough". I seriously love that. Now I've got my hopes up for this one. Also, this is low-key reminding me of the US series "Younger'
