I was close to ditching the show at episode 3, as its nothing new or special story-wise, but then that hip hop bit happened in episode 3, and it was so funny and inspired that I'm totally onboard. The only problem now is that seeing all that food makes me incredibly hungry. Send help.

The drama has been dragging from almost the beginning. Why do K-dramas insist on a 16 episode format. This drama would have been much better if it had been condensed into 8 or 10 episodes. SMH.

I've been musing on the office politics and power dynamics unfolding in this drama, and have to say, it's all so on-point. Office politics in the real world tend to be the same kind of circus, if not worse.

Oh man, I feel exactly the same. Gahh, this character is such a selfish piece of work. He doesn't even deserve to be called hyung. But then I started thinking about what if there was someone around to constantly remind me of some terrible thing that happened in the past, especially if I had a part in having that terrible thing happen in the first place. I would prefer too that the person who triggers all those bad memories isn't around. In that sense, I find his appalling behavior believable. At least he isn't the kind of hollow pointless villain that plague one K-drama too many. But still, he should be happy that SY was able to lead a semi-normal life, he should be crying tears of relief. He'd have to do something incredibly selfless to redeem himself at this point. He really hit rock bottom in this week's episodes.

This drama deserves all the praise. It's simply brilliant. I was initially worried too that Cha Tae Hyun's character is the prime focus of the drama, but thankfully, that was only in the first episode, and it's more balanced now.

It really is magnificent. Maybe you can watch the first episode fully and then decide :) More people need to give this amazing drama a chance.

Hear, hear. I almost didn't watch this drama because of the low hype, that'd have been such a shame. But thankfully, I read comments similar to yours and saw the first episode and was immediately hooked. The story is deep and unfolding in such a natural way. Too many K-drama tend to be superficial, here's some substance at long last. This is without a doubt the best drama airing at the moment. More people need to give it a chance, like right now.

This is my understanding of the supernatural aspect. The drama has been kinda vague about it so I could have understood it wrong :)

The male lead has supernatural strength in one arm and can't feel any pain in that one arm. That arm is also magnetic. It's an oddly specific ability. Not much has been explained yet about how he got to be this way. He has documentation for his magnetic arm, because he has to pass through metal detectors at his airport job. But the viewers weren't shown what the documentation says. His ability is going to be the main mystery of the drama probably. The male lead doesn't want to get noticed and tries but mostly fails to blend in. The focus of the drama so far has been on the inner workings of the airport and the day to day struggles, the supernatural element is the backstory. It has a nice slice of life drama feel to it, and has many interesting side characters.

I really like the sister. She is such a realistic meanie sibling. She could be the main character, and I'd be happy. That investigation she carried out with those rules of investigation in episode 4 was pure gold, still laughing over that.

Your comment has made me want to watch The Guest right away. I was chickening out to even give it a try before, I thought it would be too scary for me, but all the glowing comments are sparking my curiosity. I'll continue to watch this drama too, but the story does seem to be dragging a lot. Are they just going to keep running around and playing cat and mouse for the remaining 20 episodes.

I'm starting to come around to the fact that he's dead too. It bothers me slightly less now too. Why can't they show where his body is though. That mystery remains open.

Yep, It doesn't seem plausible that her sister was able to cut her carotid artery so deeply with a glorified butter knife that she bled out on the spot.

Initially, I thought this too, and agree that there is a strong possibility that that was him. But, if Da Il so obviously shivered at his own body in the morgue, then why did he take Yeo Wool and Sang Sub to dig the shallow grave where his body originally was. He should have led them to the morgue instead. It is possible that Da Il didn't know it was his own body in the morgue, but that seems weak reasoning to me. Why was he so spooked if he didn't know. Also, the morgue should have identified him by now and notified Sang Sub. Even if his body was beyond recognition, he served in the military, they should have this prints and dental record to match with. There could be some other explanation for the body in the morgue. I admit that my theory is based on wishful thinking. I'm watching out for more hints. Let's see.
