It's possible. His body was gone from the original spot and if he was in the morgue, shouldn't it have been identified by now. Also, if he's really dead then where are they even going with the story. The stakes would be too low and it would be just too sad.

I've been thinking the same too. Maybe he's in a coma in a hospital somewhere, the way the woman in red is. That would be a good plot twist. But then I think maybe this is my wishful thinking, as I don't want Da Il to be dead. His spirit did clearly see himself buried when it was raining.

This drama deserves a much higher rating than the current measly 8.5. Such a real drama with real characters, not the perfect caricatures you find in typical k-dramas. The soundtrack, cinematography, casting, acting, plot, everything is superb and spot-on.

Agreed, we most likely will this week. The series has stuck with the overall story arc and essence of the webtoon closely so far :)

OMG, I was thinking all these things too and internally screaming. I think she should have kept one safety helmet and her dad's jacket too as keepsakes. Those poor diaries won't even have taken all that much space. Gah, I can't even deal with it X_X

Loved this article and would love to read part 2. OMG, I didn't realize that the life of a translator can be so challenging. It requires so much commitment. I applaud you. I also hadn't realized the thing about the translation giving the characters a slightly different variation of their personality. That's such a big responsibility. Thank you for all your efforts :)

I agree. Soo Ah's background has been explained properly in the webtoon, to the point that I almost feel sympathetic towards her. She's no two dimensional character in the webtoon.

I'll check out the recaps too, thanks for the tip. I watched the first 2 episodes and I was so lost and confused that I gave up on the drama entirely. Glad to know I wasn't the only one who couldn't make heads or tails of the story.
