The actor who played song yan is actually He Chang Xi. But his face got Ai swapped with another actor named Zhu Zan Jin who played Jin guangyao in cql. So sang yan's face is Zhu Zan Jin's face but body is He Chang Xi's lol, that's why I couldn't recognize Zhu zan Jin because AI made it look weird and slight uncanny.
As for the reason for this, I heard this guy, He Chang Xi, got soft-banned in cent due to a gossip rumor so the drama production team replaced his face with Zhu Zan Jin. For details you need to do google search cause I don't know much about this story.
Stupid question. After the filming is done where do they do with the costumes? Do they keep it or discard it? Can they give it to me? I want all of xie zhang's fur cloaks 😭
The only thing I didn't understand is why wei yan thought killing "one of his most loyal servants" two daughters would be helpful in preserving his relationship with his nephew, xie zhang ?
And that actor of song yan was Jin guangyao from cql this whole time!!! I felt his face looked a bit odd cause the drama team did his make-up weirdly but it's actually because the og actor for song yan got blacklisted so they swapped his face with Jin guangyao's...
For the first time I wanted zombies to win because the characters here are so unlikable, they all deserved to die, yes including Jun Ji Hyun's character. The only good ones were the ex-bf, the brother and his sister. It's because of those three and Jun Ji Hyun's character working brain that those brainless people managed to survive as long as they did and yet they abandoned them cause "reasons". No one can convince me that they didn't had enough time to get the sister from the control room and then go to the roof but they didn't cause again "reasons"
In a way the plot justified villain's reasons as humans would evolve much better if they exchange informations and stay united as a colony (pun intended lol)
Infact, I felt the plot was working in the villain's favor while watching the movie.
After that happy montage between the king and the villagers I wasn't expecting such ending but that's what happened in reality. But I am still pissed at the incompetence of grand prince geumsong's plan, no wonder hongyi lost the rebellion he got such losers in his team.
Am I the only one who thought the ending was rushed. Eun a's past trauma was solved with just her mother saying "she is impressive for handling everything on her own" well yeah no shit she had no other choice
and what about knock knock knock?? Did Eun a finally agreed with oh jeung hui playing female protagonist? What happened to the rivalry between dongman and ma jaeyoung? The filming of weather maker that could have been fleshed out instead of just showing few action scenes, writer could have gone into the details of film making process a little that would be interesting to watch.
Overall the show peaked in episode 5-9. The ending was bad
I think Park Hae Young intentionally wrote Byeon Eun Ah in a simply an extreme form of intuition, sensitivity,…
This is the reply I was looking for. And it's a long one! Thank you for this. I was worried the drama might turn "superhero-ish" in the middle so I came here. This is a problem of kdramas which often start strong but slowly takes a huge dive in the middle of the show.
So what's up with FL getting nosebleed and telekinesis power? can someone spoil me? I was enjoying this thinking this would be similar to my liberation notes but that psychic ability threw me off. If this show is going to that route I am not continuing.
I have a question — if red army faction's main motive was to go to NK without harming any civilians why did they feel the need to hijack a plane? Couldn't they have taken a "legal" flight to NK?
I know this is fiction but I am a little confused about this part.
It's impressive how ji bozai despite going through so much since his young age still can feel empathy for others, meanwhile people who are born previliged will have their relatives be killed for some throne. These characters are fictional but it happens in real life, people will be so cruel to their own family members, for money, property etc... I will never understand, fighting your whole life for mere properties while ruining your relationship with your family and you can't even take it with you after your death.... is it really worth it?
It works good as a standalone film. You will enjoy it if you haven't watched the original kdrama version. I prefer kdrama version than this. And some things didn't make sense like the nail part. In the original it was because the girlfriend committed suicide so her nails became twisted. It was a kind of punishment. Here it didn't make sense why the mother would have them when her death was an accident... Also why does the light shop owner and the doctor is played by same people??? Light shop owner is also a dead person. Was the doctor his reincarnation or something anyways that threw me off.
because usagi didn't remember anything. that's why usagi still wants to find about her dad's death
Yeah cause she and arisu both lost their memory of the borderland after they returned to the real world. My theory is that ryuji tricked her into thinking her father was at the borderland even though the borderland is a place where only "half-living" will go and her father was already dead.
because usagi didn't remember anything. that's why usagi still wants to find about her dad's death
No. Usagi's father died in the real world before she got to the borderland in season 1. She was depressed because she could not accept her father's death. She probably would have stayed in borderland if it wasn't for arisu in season 1. Because she returned, her trauma from her father's death was never resolved. What I got from this season is that usagi needed a closure, a last goodbye talk from her father, which she got in the last episode.
The concept of a joker's game is so good I don't understand why didn't they tried to experiment with it??? Imagine joker's game being about all the borderland citizens playing special games. I needed new faces, exciting games, I wanted to know the borderland world and how it's citizen lives where do they live but what I got instead? A death freak who got a crush on a happily married pregnant woman.
About the games, I only enjoyed first and second game, second game the most, but the moment show's focus was on usagi and ryuji I lost my interest. That ryuji guy was the most unnecessary part of this entire franchise. I can't believe usagi didn't punch him in the face when he was trying to take her to the "land of the dead" lol.
