Finally finished it. Not a bad drama at all. It started strong got a little weak in the middle but finished strong. I was worried they were going to rush the ending, seeing how fast paced everything became after 20 episode but it was actually good. I am satisfied. 8/10.
popular but not considered as "hit" but they still have many episodes left so we will see ,they got 2…
This is my first time watching a zhou ye drama and I quite like her acting here although she looks too feminine to me I don't get people who call her "boyish"
As for the drama I have only watched 3 episodes so far and to be honest I don't feel like continuing , they are focusing too much on the cp, I am getting bored lol. The first episode was horrible, lots of cuts and some plots didn't make sense, seeing 35 minutes I thought cuts were because of censorship but other episodes have also similar run-time. I am thinking of putting this drama on hold for now and watch something else. Maybe I will check it again after it finishes airing.
since some people have been arguing about whether han li sees mo cai huan as just someone to feel pity/guilt towards…
Thank you for this important information! While watching I felt han li's feelings for mo caihuan was romantic, definitely not sister like i don't get some people here who think hanli treats her like a sister.
There is also that one scene of him and qunxiao, my initial guess was right about that too! Reason why han li didn't reply because he does have someone in his heart, like qunxiao. And that someone is mo caihuan. If he didn't he would have denied. I love their pairing. Thank you again!
I definitely feel the pace is fast, and would be nice if there was more development for some other characters…
What?? bad guys will win?!?!? Oh that does makes the story interesting to me. I was low-key hoping seven sects will lose and dissolve cause they have started to piss me off with their gimmicks and uselessness... I guess I will keep watching then.
i think he go the herb to prove the point that he is more reliable than the seven sects, as for why he didnt use…
Hmm.. I guess it does make sense. I got so irritated that they didn't use the herb when nangong wan went to bloody trial ground along with many other disciples who died to get that herb.
I don’t know, it seems more like Han Li treats her as a sister.
I disagree. I feel han li got more sister feeling with qian and that beast girl instead of mo. With her I can see him behaving a little "differently" than how he behaves with other two + nangong. But i can't tell if he actually have feelings for mo. I mean when that craftsman mentioned love, hanli didn't react but I find it interesting that he didn't deny either. So maybe he does have feelings for mo. I think han li is just like his master, staying far away from his loved ones so that they would be safer. But he definitely don't treat mo as sister. Just my opinion.
On episode 19 I feel like the last arc will be the war and it will end after "the good wins over the bad". The show is getting worse by each episode, the pace is fast as if they are in a hurry to finish this. There is no other interesting character that I want to root for other than the protagonist. The demon son is funny and I like his interaction with his two subordinates but that's it. One plot point I don't get is he already got that spirit herb (I forgot the name) from the bloody trial that is the one and only cure for yan yet he never used it and instead he started sucking spirits out of regular people???? if he wanted to do that why did he bother even getting that herb anyway??? (Correct me if I am wrong if they actually used that herb on yan cause I don't remember.)
Is it just me who finds that demon sect's nephew (I don't know the name) so devilishly handsome. Every time he is on screen I miss out on reading subtitles cause my focus is always on his face lmao ðŸ˜
Where can I watch this movie with English subs I can't find it anywhere...
Edit.
Just finished this. I think I liked this movie better than the hindi remake one. The main villain was the disease/fate and it was executed perfectly in this movie. And she apologized to him after she mistook him as her ex and that whole beat up scene... I hated the exes in both movies but here it's more tolerable. Anyways it was a good movie. 9/10.
