Just finished it. Honestly after episode 5 my ratings for this drama keep fluctuating between 8-9 but after the final episode and THAT SCENE it became 10. I have no complaints about this drama now. Fully satisfied.

Yeom hyerun better bag the best supporting actress for this drama or else 🔪 I cried like a baby everytime she was on screen. Middle age oh aesun's actress was also amazing.

I am not good with character's name I know a character by their face so when the flashbacks overlaps with the middle age version I get whiplash.

Is it just me who thinks they should have made iu and pbg play their middle age version of ae sun and yang gwang sick instead of casting new actors. Sorry, i just don't see iu and pbg when I look at them. Not saying they aren't beautiful/handsome but they just don't look similar. Like AT ALL 😭

A 9.0 rating for a Chinese drama!?? 😲🤯 usually only kdramas get this high rating on this site.

Woah I wasn't expecting this to be under the same universe as moving. Don't skip the post credit scenes at the last episode y'all!!

I have one question though. Is the detective still alive or is he also dead like the light shop owner?

Hope she will get closure in the end.

It was shown on episode 5 36:53 timestamp. When hyunmin's parents were asked "are you park hyewon's family?" The body on the trolley was covered, it was hyewon (sunhae's lover) I assume she died on the spot from saving sunhae.

I wanted to watch love life light but I couldn't find the movie anywhere I didn't know there was a kdrama version.

Yes, but the present plotline has already diverged significantly from the previous which is why I expected more from these two characters. Thankfully, recent episodes have shown development in this area.

I see. I was frustrated because these two people are getting npc treatment when we were told they are two of four important main characters we should be rooting for. And I don't think I got enough materials to do that. At this point if one or both of them dies I'd feel bad for mu sheng and miao miao instead of them.

I've been feeling this for a while, but I don't think the show paid much attention to the second lead duo. They should be as essential here because they are the "main" lead in the novel setting, yet the show seldom touches on their point of view, or their thoughts. Even while Liu Fuyi and Mu Yao are shopping, the camera is more focused on Miaomiao's reaction to what they are doing than on them. You can sense that their love story is unimportant to the overall plot, thus they are focusing less on it...

I am saying this because I have a huge second lead syndrome but this is the first show I came across where I absolutely cannot love the second lead(s)

After jealousy era of course there is going to be misunderstanding era 😞

Queen dowager. Zhou qinrui. They keep mentioning her throughout the plot.

You can download the app on google play store or app store if you are an iphone user. Although you cannot make a weibo account now, you would need a chn number for that. But you can still use the app just fine as a guest.

I have a question. If mu sheng is a demon, than how could other demon take his blood? Unless he was born from a super powerful demon queen/king and whoever takes his blood will be as powerful as that powerful demon?

I prefer watching parent-child relationship over boy-girl romance in asian dramas. I swear they just hit you right in your feels 😭 Loved the moments between old lin and lin yu. AND we finally got backstory on our og girl.

3 episodes so far and the BUDGET!!! Vfx looks so good. This is the second show (after blood of youth) where I have seen good cgi.

After watching 10 episode I feel like dropping it. I cannot fully immerse myself in the story because of comedic gigs. When you are on the edge of your seat, anticipating what will happen, they break the tension with a joke, which totally breaks my concentration. Some humor was funny but it becomes tedious if it is used in every scene.

It's one of my favorite kdrama too! ☺️

So I am on episode 11 currently but can someone fill me in on ye wenjie's whole story? From her father's death to bai mulin, because what was those papers that lady was asking her to sign? From the description I understood it was something about her father? Why was her father punished?
I don't know about chinese history so I don't get why she's being punished nor I had read the original novel but I think it's an important plot point. Please any original novel readers help me out here!!
