I see. I was frustrated because these two people are getting npc treatment when we were told they are two of four important main characters we should be rooting for. And I don't think I got enough materials to do that. At this point if one or both of them dies I'd feel bad for mu sheng and miao miao instead of them.

I've been feeling this for a while, but I don't think the show paid much attention to the second lead duo. They should be as essential here because they are the "main" lead in the novel setting, yet the show seldom touches on their point of view, or their thoughts. Even while Liu Fuyi and Mu Yao are shopping, the camera is more focused on Miaomiao's reaction to what they are doing than on them. You can sense that their love story is unimportant to the overall plot, thus they are focusing less on it...

I am saying this because I have a huge second lead syndrome but this is the first show I came across where I absolutely cannot love the second lead(s)

I prefer watching parent-child relationship over boy-girl romance in asian dramas. I swear they just hit you right in your feels 😭 Loved the moments between old lin and lin yu. AND we finally got backstory on our og girl.

3 episodes so far and the BUDGET!!! Vfx looks so good. This is the second show (after blood of youth) where I have seen good cgi.

After watching 10 episode I feel like dropping it. I cannot fully immerse myself in the story because of comedic gigs. When you are on the edge of your seat, anticipating what will happen, they break the tension with a joke, which totally breaks my concentration. Some humor was funny but it becomes tedious if it is used in every scene.

It's one of my favorite kdrama too! ☺️

So I am on episode 11 currently but can someone fill me in on ye wenjie's whole story? From her father's death to bai mulin, because what was those papers that lady was asking her to sign? From the description I understood it was something about her father? Why was her father punished?
I don't know about chinese history so I don't get why she's being punished nor I had read the original novel but I think it's an important plot point. Please any original novel readers help me out here!!

I wasn't expecting romance here tbh, i didn't read the tag 😭 I only saw few clips on twitter and I started watching, was expecting this show to be somewhat like juvenile justice.
Anyways, to me it's kind of unnecessary for other world entity to be human, even if it's part of the plot. love really be winning us all like damn.

I get that she was a demon and I can't expect her to have human emotions (i wasn't) but she is a judge too ???? and I was criticing her judging skills while I was sympathizing with the victim. She was partially to blame for what had happened afterwards.

Why would a demon get humanized? It makes no sense to me. And why its always love for a woman character to get a character development? I have only finished episode 1 but feel free to spoil me on her character development please I'd like to hear more. Right now I am more interested in human kang bitna and how did she end up in hell, maybe for that I will continue watching.

People are praising Kang Bitna, and I am here??? I understand that she is a demon, but letting an abuser go free with no punishment knowing that he could kill an innocent girl so that she would accomplish her own goal seemed a bit much.

I love it when a main character take matters into his/her own hands and be damn care about what they are about to do.

Also the author of this show probably hated the police the way they portrayed them here lol. Two police officers dead for dumbest reasons. Like come on that one dude who was being all goody goody with an ex serial killer. Or that one time when they all ran to catch a sniper (which they failed obviously😭) while leaving the ex serial killer alone with three civilians, two of them whom are patient.... yeah you heard it right.

Still liked it because of main character young ha, and Yoon bomin. And of course, Go Minsi. Her character was absolutely unhinged and she killed (yes literally) it in acting! however I wish her character was more than just a spoilt brat of a rich tycoon who can get whatever she wants trope, but again, I don't really care because I'm content to consider her character as a mere psychopath here. After all, not every psychopath killer has a deep explanation for why they do what they do; not even real-life serial killers have reasons for that.

It's a huge spoiler. But yes you got everything right. Both mother, Se Gyeong and daughter, Eun yu are look alike. It will all be revealed and explained in later episodes.

My least favorite character was chung ah's father. I low-key was expecting him to play the villain here too. Maybe because of the actor, I have only seen him playing villain roles in other kdramas, so seeing him in a positive role took me by surprise. He was still a horrible father though. Plus his relationship with YCA wasn't explained well imo. I wanted to know how did he say yes to the marriage of HYC and YCA's maybe he did another deal similar to what HEG did to save YCA. I guess we can only assume.

Well anyways it was a good watch. 8.5/10 ⭐
