Episode 2 was a lot better than episode 1. Although I don't like the villains. at all! It's not about their acting though, I feel like Jung Myung Seok's character filter mr. lawyer kang ki young from EXTRAORDINARY ATTORNEY WOO is still too strong in my memory so it's hard for me to see him as an antagonist in this show. (Just remembered his rap with wyw... oh god 🤣) And the girl, I can't tell whether she's playing the same role she played in THE GLORY. The new counter was good at least.
Am I, as a drama viewer, grew old from this concept that this season has not been as interesting (as I expected it) 🧐 I am absolutely loving the old cast but idk it's just what I felt after finishing episode 1.
Episode 25 really got me. Teacher can only do so much in a student's life but the rest (and most important part) has to bear by student and their family members. A teacher can only show you the path and maybe guide you on how to walk on it but it's you who have to gather the courage and mental stability to walk on that path.

To those of you who think it's HE, I respect your opinion but to me it's definitely not HE (I'll call it a bit bitter-sweet ending.) the reason being is the prophesy "zhu yan being shi ying's death calamity" turned out to be true in the end, even though both shi ying and zhu yan fought all against the odds, shi ying dying once, than getting revived by Zhu yan giving up half of her life and again dying in the hands of zhu yan like he did before does not seem "happy" to me. But I understand everyone's point.
Is it a Happy ending?? Do they urn into enemies in the middle of the story and eventually made up??
Not exactly happy or bad ending. It's bitter-sweet one for sure. if you watch first few episode just know that the prophesy about shi ying will end up being true.

I heard there was some problem with kpop gg blackpink (in one of the shots they used one of the members pic without permission) also the og novel was a lot more than just corruption and the makers made sure to leave 80% of that out. When it first aired people were upset how much the novel was changed and still it got scrapped I really believe it happened because of the comedian issue. Censorship bans were never implemented fully in china (if someone/something gets banned the reason will be bold and clear in font) it's just producers/makers don't want to take any risk probably, play better safe than sorry I guess.
I really wonder what is the reason though? It definitely got a check mark at first review that's why it aired right so what happened now? Is it because the censorship got stricter after that comedian issue or maybe it's youku who was upset that it wasn't recieved well by c-netz so they decided to scrap it altogether.
Not gonna lie shi ying's master is giving me suspicion *👀. I have not read the novel but my current theory is that he is not really on shi ying's side. we'll see.
I was kinda worried that they will end this season on a cliffhanger with entire cast taking a huge L. I already prepared my heart for any major character death but boy was I wrong!
Compare to it's first season, I absolutely loved all the characters of this season (with Lee miho being my favorite. absolute cutie! She also made an appearance at the final episode) The side characters were good and most importantly what my favorite part of the series is that, they touched a lot on the folktale stories and experimented while not deviating from the actual plot. Things would have been complicated but thank God it didn't. Were there plot holes left because of that? Yes. But it still doesn't left you unsatisfied as a viewer.
Overall it was a good watch.
(Last but not the least aeum made an appearance???? OMG I didn't expected the FL to have an cameo at the very end.)
