I watched part 1 long time ago but I just realized murueok is Ryu Jun yeol !! you mean THE RYU JUN YEOL whose the center of all the han sohee drama!! L.M.A.O.
I actually liked his character murueok the most and thought he is probably a new actor but oh well...
Seldom do dramas manage to avoid a climactic meltdown and come to a satisfying conclusion and this one is one of them. I love it. I'll miss wei ruolai though 😭
He hates communists. They explained that he murdered his own teacher for being a communist. I don’t think a…
I get that part but he's crushing on SJZ while already having a gf is what confused me. Was his crush on SJZ before he started dating SMJ or he dated her after his feelings towards SJZ died.
Was "his crush" only for the sake of the plot or he was just being a typical man like that famous meme, a guy walking with a girl while looking at another girl lol.
Also there is a scene where wen bian (LQS junior) asking him to ask SJZ out on a date. Why would he ask LQS to pursue a relationship when LQS is already in a relationship with another girl. It was weird.
32 episodes in and I still don't get why LQS had little crush on SJZ in the first few episodes. It's like he had a huge crush on her and than suddenly he started hating her?? Especially the sudden revelation that he has a girlfriend,, I was so confused. I thought I missed some episodes even though I'm following this drama regularly. I hope someone will clarify this for me.
can anyone tell me if this movie is watch watching and how is the action and the romance?
Most of the time it's all 🔫 and 💣 I mean to say there's hardly any hand to hand action you will see but it's still pretty thrilling. Although there is not much romance here since it's espionage/political drama but there are few funny moments. You will enjoy it ☺️
They changed a lot for harin & ja eun's back story from webtoon.
(This is how it went in the webtoon. Credit to Edgar Mobushi on kissasian.)
First of all, Ja Eun & Harin are sisters. Harin was abandoned after trying to protect Ja Eun (she was ready to do the extreme). Their mother then manipulated Ja Eun into believe it would've been better for everyone to send her into an orphanage, since they were super poor and the stepdad was ill, they couldn't sustain the whole family. There Harin was abused, neglected and fed moldy food at the orphanage. When she tried to go back to Ja Eun, she saw her happily enjoying an icecream while holding hands with their mother, that got her resentful. When they met years later, Harin wanted to be comforted & reunite with her sister, but Ja Eun assumed she was living her best life since that day, she had the same smile as when she enjoyed that icecream after "betraying her". That's when she decided to ruin her. At the end they have an honest conversation, Harin apologize to them for everything & risk her life to protect Ja Eun when the fire expands and take full responsability by going to prison.
But I am glad they didn't stick with this because I am tired of seeing "a bully can be a victim too" trope. Especially with kim dayeon I guess her punishment for all the bullying she did to others was getting beaten up by her father for her lifetime (felt a bit bad for her at the end though)
Drama Baek harin is a manipulative psychopath who likes being on top of the pyramid by stepping on others, who she thinks are below her. I cannot think of her getting any kind of redemption arc because of cho woori and what harin and the rest of the class did to her. She is a violent bully and she deserved all the karma she got at the end. Myung ja eun freeing herself from the guilt was harin's biggest punishment probably.
The rest of the bullies getting their karma was SATISFYING AS HELL to see.
Lastly, I just wished harin's adopted parents and halmeoni should have gotten more as punishment but I guess their name getting tainted from this whole scandal is enough for them since rich people don't care about anything other than their "image."
I like little conversation between sung sooji and her father at episode 10. That was my favorite scene of the show.
Overall a decent show 8/10.
P.s Please don't have a season 2. It's fine as it is now.
"a school is just a miniature version of a society" if you see this show in this lense and not just some high school petty bullying type show than it's one hell of a good show.
There is not a "good person" (except for MJE) in this show either they are evil or morally gray and I love this show for that. Also W for strong female lead.
the tag is horror so what kind horror-ish stuff does it have? also any jumpscares I need to be aware of?
Basically It's all about zombies so obviously there would be a lot of jumpscares. If you liked train to busan movie then you would love this one as well ;)
