I'm usually super jumpy with horror, but I did just fine with this one. The SFX was really good too, props to that team. Happy to see so much growth from our lovely Michael and TopTen!!
Okay but like… 12 episodes dropping at ONCE is so exciting and also deeply offensive to people with bony, betrayal-coded…
As a fellow bony-assed person, I understand the frustration! If you filmed a timelapse of me I'd probably change from standing to sitting to pacing to whatever at least four times and hour.
Just dropped this after episode 6... The whole body swap thing, albeit funny initially, got boring quick and felt unnecessary, like why couldn't the red string be reconnected and that be it? I dunno, I think just having the red string trope and no other fantastical elements within the human world would've worked better, in my opinion.
Oh my god this is going to be so stupidly funny. Junho is great at playing characters that can't be taken seriously. Just finished Typhoon Family literal minutes ago, so excited to watch this later this month!
I have a question — if red army faction's main motive was to go to NK without harming any civilians why did…
To this day, there are only two legal ways to fly to North Korea: through Russia (then, the USSR) or China (PRC). In 1970, it was illegal for the Japanese to fly to the PRC because they still recognized Taiwan as China's legitimate government. And while air travel to the USSR was possible, it was very restricted and a visa was required, which the Japanese consulate definitely would not have approved. Besides, a group of college-age radicals associated with a violent movement within their home country probably would've been more of a risk than the Soviets were willing to take.
I love the FL's styling in the trailer. I'm a sucker for the forbidden love trope, so I think I'm gonna love this one. I may have to wait a bit to watch it (going on a trip soon) but I'm excited!
Having EVERYONE at the wedding was…a choice, and it kinda ruined the scene for me. I got so confused when they panned around and I saw Tony, like…what? It made it feel more like a wedding between PoohPavel and not CharlieBabe.
Please tell me I'm not the only one that noticed that in ep 2 that as a transition (yk showing off a new setting/scenery clip) that it's just the Space Needle in Seattle? I just thought it was kinda funny.
Can someone give me the tldr for this series with spoilers? From start to finish?
The friends are Ray, Boston, Mew, and Cheum (doesn't get much screen time, but has a gf April). They're all classmates opening a hostel together and hang out at their friend Yo's bar, where Sand is a singer (and sells his own illegal alcohol on the side). Boston wants to help Mew get into hookup culture and lose his virginity before he gets into a serious relationship, so he introduces the group to Top. Mew dates Top, but Top cheats with Boston (who has feelings for him). Ray has unresolved feelings for Mew but starts a messy relationship with Sand (Ray is also drunk/high about 90% of the show). Boston hooks up with Nick, who catches feelings, but Boston isn’t interested in commitment. Out of jealousy Nick leaks an audio tape of Top and Boston having sex in Boston's car, which makes Top and Mew break up. Mew dates Ray but Ray cheats on him with Sand; Boston and Nick fuck around (literally); Ray nearly gets arrested for using cocaine; and Top does a lot of hot things to get Mew to take him back (including charming his moms). Eventually Top wins Mew over and they move in together, and Ray realizes he can't live without Sand. Nick realizes that Boston will never give him enough (Boston is basically just a cheating prick the whole show) and decides to choose himself over a one-sided relationship, and Boston moves to New York to focus on photography. The group eventually opens their hostel and everyone seems happy. The only real bittersweet ending is with Boston and Nick. Overall the storyline is really crazy and the character dynamics are good, but the audio quality is horrendous. Hope this was helpful and not too long!!
