agreed, doesnt make it right since everyone is so confused... i wonder if the movie compilation version explains it better, but cant be bothered to rewatch it...
Of course I didn't like this series much anyway but can someone tell me why did the main couple, as shown in the…
I found the last two episodes as confusing as everyone so the only way it makes sense to me is by weird editing. I think the point is that Kijin never left, he rejected the US opportunity (thus Yibin was alone there, as he said) and Kijin stayed back and built his own studio. The ending of EP7 is nothing but a fake cliffhanger. Then the beginning of EP8, when Yeongwoo is delivering the kimbab, acting all surprised and hurt (again to built up on the fake cliffhanger) basically boils down to the joke of Kijin ordering only one kimbap. Which is worth like under 4000 won (4usd) and therefore he kept saying sorry. Their tension and reactions are too lighthearted to be reunited for the first time in a year after breaking up out of the blue like that. So I think they never actually separated, and this whole confusing storypoint is due to need for suspense at the end and bad editing to properly explain to the audience what actually happened.
For me, a hard no. I came back here to lower my initial score, because I was reminiscing ITSAY and what a special…
Its ok, maybe you'll feel different about it... I think as a standalone drama is actually really good (thats why I originally rated it high), but as a sequel to ITSAY I would have not watched it if I knew I'll end up feeling like this...
Ok guys i will ask seriously. Idk whether to watch this. I watched ITSAY a while ago and wanted to watch this…
For me, a hard no. I came back here to lower my initial score, because I was reminiscing ITSAY and what a special spot it has on my heart, and yet regretting watching IPYTM. Because it has shed a shadow over my love for the original series, it just took something special away from me... The most convincing argument I have is to check the credits on the Director/Screenwritters. It's NOT the same team. It's not the same vibe. If I could erase my memory of watching this, I would. Not because its terrible by itself, but because it left a bitter aftertaste that even affected my love for the original... and that is just unforgivable.
can someone recommend not dramas with a similar plot but dramas equally comforting, because i found it comforting…
somehow dark, melancholic and comforting? Try *My Mister, *When the Weather Is Fine, *A Piece of Your Mind, and movies *Hot Road, *His, and *Little Forest.
this is my first time watching a variety show and I really like it. can anyone give me another recommendation?
Sixth sense, if you want a variety with seasons. There are long running varieties like Running Man, but it's going on for over 10 years. I'd also suggest Workman on youtube :) I haven't watched myself, but if you like the game aspect, The great escape is also quite popular.
I agree with you. I love all their characters and I am so invested in Ung and Yeon Soo's growth and relationships.…
Agreed. The main couple has enough romance/angst/chemistry, there is no need for the love square. Both seconds leads could have such a better development without the stupid crushes. I particularly like NJ's honesty and forthcoming. Even stating herself she doesnt expect it to last, then why even go there (story), just make it into a buddying friendship between two 'outsiders'. I'd love that!

Right?! For one, it it unrequited love for both of them, since Ung and Yeonsu are too invested in each other. So to force their interest on them is just not right (not that the characters are doing that, but the story is). Jiung dealing with his mommy issues, and how Ung's family has taken him in as a real son, that is enough. And to actually see into their friendship with Ung in the last episode, how he's the only one he opens up to... that was beautiful. What's the point of making him in love with his girlfriend? A person doesn't choose who to fall in love with, but the story is doing him a disservice to paint him like that. And for NJ, to be able to make a real friend in her lonely world, I think thats also beautiful as it is. Having the scandal as a mechanism to bring Ung/Yeonsu together that is also okay. But having her being in love with Ung and meddling with his real love interest? Thats not nice to watch.
the love square is the only thing I dont like. I'm invested in seeing Ung and Yeonsu mending their relationship while growing, and Jiung/NJ are both interesting characters without the love triangles. If anything, that the least interesting thing about them...
I agree that episode 1 didn't feel right to me either, pretty much felt the same way as you. But as you watch…
This conversation is going in circles. Like i said, if you're looking for explicit scenes to recognise it, you won't find them in the episodes from Hira's PoV. It is intentionally presented that way. Your feelings are valid, as that was the intention. I suggest watching the remaining episodes before you finalize your opinion on the drama. It won't make these characters/relationship less toxic, but then again this is not the goal anyway.
I don't think so. This is a tving drama, which means it is owned by a korean online streaming service. I would…
its a tving drama, meaning jtbc amongst others. It is created by/for the online streaming service and therefore falls into a different category than the dramas broadcasted on korean tv channels.

tving is only in korea at the moment, but netflix is still a direct competitor. It would make more sense to sell to broadcasting channels abroad than netflix. But lets see. I sure hope its put on netflix so i can convince friends to watch it.

First half was great, second dragged. It was like watching two seasons combined in one.
