Just finished this on Netflix and it was such a rollercoaster of emotions! I love the funny moments the most.…
The driver's intension was explained in ep 16 briefly through Tae Sun's dad - just a psycho. Sol just happened to be in the wrong place during the previous timelines. In the last timeline, the driver wasn't aware of Sol (or Sunjae except as a celebrity). His real connection by fate is with Sunjae (SJ was always an obstacle even if it was unintentional). But yes, i guess some would prefer it being clarified in more detail (apparently there was a deleted scene in ep 9 according to the script book mentionning that he is a psycho clearly- guess they ran out of time)😊
The time freeze thing- i can't recall the source but apparently you have to actually hear Sol's "spoilers" for the timefreeze to work which is why they didn't use it during any of her kidnapping scenes (and it only lasts for barely a few seconds so it's not really that helpful in that situation). Also her frame of mind at the time would be too unstable to remember about her superpower. Sunjae's fall hapened in seconds before Sol could have remembered her power unlike how it was shown (it just was shown in slow motion to do the monologue). It would have been funny though if they could have saved him like that 🙈
I had the same thoughts, let’s see maybe it’s will be somehow shown or explained
Exactly...at the very least we now know that he did low key traumatize her without meaning to...and the preview seems to imply that his mum is somehow involved🙊
Out of curiousity, what if Hong Ju started to subconsciously truly obsess over Jun Ho because she was getting a little too close to KHY? She was a fan already after all...it doesn't take a lot to confuse feelings as a fan to love? Specially at that age?🙊
I’m at ep 12 and I enjoyed it so far up until this ep. I love how they managed to make me laugh, giggle, and…
"wonder how come Sun Jae still love her despite the emotional roller-coaster she gave him"-
Sunjae was pretty much a lost cause after ep 2 (the stolen swimming trunk incident). Upto this point he was slightly cautious but once he understood that Sol may be "strange" but all her actions stem from wanting to protect him, her erratic behaviour didn't matter. He doesn't understand why exactly, but the fact that regardless of the reason, she still cares about him was enough. 🙊
Oh and the only reason I did not mention the ML is because everytime he appeared on screen I fell asleep. No depth…
The whole point of Sunjae's character was his unwavering love for Sol so he can't help it if he has a one track mind right? It's kind of unfair to say though that he had no character development- like you literally see him grow up from 19 - 34🙊
How can a character / actor have no depth or abiliy to portay a range of emotions when Sunjae's emotional arc was quite a rollercoaster ride?
He had to first convince everybody (viewers and FL) that he was depressed enough to commit suicide while simultaneously masking his emotions in public while hiding his anxiety from his team. Portray a tsundere type guy, a guy who lost his dream, youthful bravery, recklessness and naiveness, and not to mention all the mental tug-a-war he had to go through because of both Sols, as well as the whole ep 13-15 arc to name a few...
BWS portrayed it beautifully in my opinion but each to their own.
So lets get it straight. She is a grown woman, why is she acting like a little girl, especially after they got…
IMO Sol's "childish" behaviour as you phrased it, was explained in ep 1. Sol may be 34 years old but she's lived a very sheltered life ever since the accident. She pretty much confessed to her 19 yr old bestie that she hasn't made any friends in a really long time for instance. This basically implies that aside from a professional context, she probably mostly spent time with her childhood best friend/ family and probably didn't really date either.
So it makes sense why she's so excited about everything. It's her first time doing everything.
Besides, Sol's character is supposed to be a bubbly sunny person. Even "adults" wind down and enjoy the simple things in life (even if it's just falling petals). Or else Sakura season would not be a peak time for tourists and locals for instance right?🙊
@Claire Danes Lamfo she carried the show where 😂 ML carried the show that's a fact for LR Extraordinary - rowoon…
Exhuma and LR are from 2 different genres. Both actresses are versatile and have a variety of roles in their respective portfolios (as well as awards to prove their callibre). You can celebrate one actress without looking down on another actress.
LR was successful because of the whole team but it is a fact that LR was written with KHY in mind (the writer herself confirmed that she only went forward with LR because KHY accepted the role).
If you don't like KHY, that's fine. You can move on to the next show.

Have to ask- did KHY run over your foot or something? That's a lot of cathy comments (and research done) for a person you don't like/ you'll probably never meet irl🫢
agreed!! If it was only because of looks then king the land, true beauty and my demon would have the same ratings…
True but hopefully there will be another global release for the rest of the world soon
Comparing ratings isn't really fair considering the original runtime (comparing weekend shows with NF's backing vs. a Mon/Tuesday night show with barely any promotion🤷♀️)
To be fair, original timeline's 19 year old Sol didn't know about SJ- he saw her first🤷♀️
If Sol saw SJ without his cap obscuring his face both times she met him in 2018/ wasn't already crushing on somebody else, who knows? She would have definitely fallen for him head over heels too (and not just because he's good looking)🙊
It's number 2 in my country today- not sure how to check overall NF global ranking though since there isn't anything available for August yet.

-Sunjae "runs" to the future (2023) to be with his Sol.
So together, they are lovely runners :)
Honestly the name can be interpretted in many ways. The korean name literally is Sol's Fan username (Piggy back Sunjae and run)

I don't have the Viki sub so haven't tried it but the different subtitles used across platforms does still maintain the drama's freshness😉
It's available in a select few Asian countries for now.

Specially considering most of the co-stars you mentioned above actually have praised her alot for her talemt and support🫶

I liked KTL but LR is in a totally different level honestly! It's been 2 months and here I am still obsessing over LR🙈
No comment on MD since it wasn't my cup of tea😅
