I don't think so since Sunjae's watch is a "Shoc" watch not "Shock"- probably to avoid copyright/ trademark issues…
In retrospect it certainly would have been better if they could have added the full name of the watch in the drama...too bad most underestimated LR's success back then π
You really know your G-shock watches! Didn't know the reason why some displays weren't so vible because of the negative display π
I love the plot and actors are nice but could not finish it, kdramas are obsessed with cringe moments, jokes and…
Tbf in that situation, the accidental kiss is the one that makes the most sense (if you are referring to the kiss from ep 9, MT retreat) for SolJaeπ
Just wondering, did Casio sponsor the series via product placement? Must be good return for the money, I bet GShock…

But yesss...casio definitely benefited from it. Even I found myself in one of their stores. Ended up with something else though since G-Shock is shockingly expensive (and not worth it if you aren't a professional swimmer).
You are probably right. Between his guilt about Sol's situation and pressures of being an idol, things may have…
I guess they were aiming to make Sunjae's death more mysterious since the drama is primarily driven on Sol's pov but it certainly would have been interesting to see.
Sunjae's pov from the unseen first timeline would have been extremely traumatizing ngl....specially since this time he actually knows Sol as more than just his beloved yet unfamiliar neighbour- he didn't even know that she didn't recall his first confession/ kiss....she must have haunted his thoughts constantly for 15 yearsππ
Damn...as unjae would say...the time wasn't rightπππ
So true though...even where I come from, it's same with the bro/ sis references (though i guess it's not as common with the younger crowd now). It's a good loophole if you forget somebody's name/ can't pronounce π πΉ
A little story time! Itβs raining again in my city. Me and my colleague were walking to the train station after…
Awwww this is just too sweet!!!ππ Your story took me back in time to my school days (only it was Love Story-taylor swift instead of Sudden Shower) π
are there any theories about what actually happend in the first time line between the friends? is it because he…
You are probably right. Between his guilt about Sol's situation and pressures of being an idol, things may have gotten difficult between Sunjae and In Hyuk eventually. This is also the version of Sunjae who didn't have Sol's help to deal with the blow to his swimming career too so it's possible the endless streak of losing his dreams (career and love) too could have had an impact .
The fact that in the original timeline the CEO was directly in contact with Sunjae whereas in all the other timelines it was In Hyuk passing messages is very telling that their friendship has been fraying for quite sometime.
After ep 13: wait so how could she just go back on time like that and on top of that to a specific time so they…
Once 2009 Sunjae died, the watch he was wearing got activated. So there's 3 chances again.
About picking a specific point of time, while it's open to interpretation, it seems the watch takes you to a specific time that can help influence your desired outcome. (Ex, in ep 9, the watch took her to 2009 because she wanted to prevent Sunjae's involvement in the second kidnapping attempt?
Will things change? Yes and don't be too hungup on their lost moments (I won't say anything more so you can enjoy it first hand)
Remember the part in Episode 4 while he was in Hangang? He called Sol a liar because she'd forgotten her promise…
That's sooo true...the original timeline's pov alone was so heartbreaking....adding his friendship with Sol and the memories they made together to it would be too devastating.
Knowing Sunjae, he would have had so many hopes and dreams after the pool kiss, only to be treated so coldly less than 24 hours later and have his heart shredded too...and things just keep getting worse from that point on wards. Hell I wouldn't be surprised if he really did unalive himself in that timelineπ

Haha you never knowπππ
There has to be a reason why yellow umbrellas are so popular...there's always a little truth in fiction π
Haha tbf losers are well hidden π
Once your unbrella arrives, might as well take it for a spin- you never know what could happen

(There are different timelines which is why we have gaps)
But honestly most of the early episodes feel like their dating in a way ngl

Like I remember his promos with 20th Century Girl but all i remember is him being sweet and awkward in a goofy way with his costars
