This is also the version of Sunjae who didn't have Sol's help to deal with the blow to his swimming career too so it's possible the endless streak of losing his dreams (career and love) too could have had an impact .

Knowing Sunjae, he would have had so many hopes and dreams after the pool kiss, only to be treated so coldly less than 24 hours later and have his heart shredded too...and things just keep getting worse from that point on wards. Hell I wouldn't be surprised if he really did unalive himself in that timeline🙊
