The events with the taxi driver didn't happen in the new timeline (atleast it's implied not yet).

San jae definitely didn't cross paths with the taxi driver and there is a high chance that Sol didn't either (both Sol's initial points of contact with the taxi driver in 2008 previously were indirectly because of San Jae).

SanJae is still not out of the woods though based on the preview...he might still be in danger in Dec 2023/Jan 2024 but let's see :)

Let's trust the director and writer...so far they've pulled through with all the twists right?

I'm pretty sure the memories will come back anyway....there's no way they would kill so many important moments! If we are lucky we might even get to see Sonaki

Hell for all we know Sonaki might actually still exist as a song that was written based on a "dream" or unexplained feelings but never published?🙈🙈🙈

Since Sanjae is no longer in Sol's life and Sol is no longer in Sanjae's life, she has no reason to meet the taxi driver.

The Sep 2008 incident didn't happen:
In the original timeline Sol left the bus because SJ rang the bell. But because he didn't follow her, she didn't get down at the resovoir - missing the taxi.

In the second timeline, she was in the bus because of Sanjae again (she went to stop SJ from signing up qith Mr Kim).
So again she has no reason to be in the bus/ fall asleep and get down at the resovoir.

In fact it kind of sounds like 2023 Sol wasn't familiar with the resovoir bus stop at all since she was confused why the stop looked familiar in the second timeline which is a strange line to add if you think about it.

In a freaky way the taxi driver is connected to
Sol through San Jae indirectly sadly. So we are likely to see him again in ep 14 or 15 one last time 🫠

We don't know for sure if his memories from his past life were truly erased. We need SJ's pov. Something is definitely up with him based on the preview and there's also the fact that Sanjae was wearing the watch when Sol activated the watch this time.

Also the source material leans towards him not forgetting his memories so let's not lose hope just yet :)

Sanjae from 2009 died so the watch on his wrist activated this time as a time machine. They have 3 chances again to go back in time. Sol used the first chance to rewrite Sanjae's first moment with Sol so that they don't meet up.

Since the new 2008 Sanjae didn't meet Sol or fall for her in that moment, they move on with their lives. That's why Sanjae doesn't know her. (But it seems not as easy as that based on the hints from thebpreview)

It's not clear but the preview kept hinting that Sanjae feels something "unexplained". Since the watch was on Sanjae at the time she activated the watch, may be there was soooome kind of side effect?🙈

It would have been nice if Sol was able to reassure Sanjae that she wasn't alone and was with KTS's dad and his team but we already know that wouldn't be enough for Sanjae so can't really complain about that even.🤷‍♀️

They'll probably end the taxi driver's arc in ep 14 or beginning of ep 15 if the plan is to mainly focus on SolJae's reunion in ep 14

I guess they can't really show In Hyuk's story just yet since Sol cannot interact with him if she needs to avoid San Jae- that's why we only get the posters for now🙊

Remember Sanjae was Pure like Oxygen before he met Sol...so he probably still is - just busy hopping from one career to another😅

The preview seems promising since SanJae kept going to all their past memorable locations (minus the bridge as far as we know). All is not lost...he might still have some of his memories with him🙊🙊🙊
