TBH ep 7's 2008 attack didn't really make me anxious because i was imptient for the 2023 flashforwards thank to the pre release they released. Knowing things will be ok removes the fear/ tension.

Young Sol did keep the driver's key with her without knowing the significance of it AND she didn't do anything to the polaroids (i mean they were in a pretty accessible place in her diary but it was left untouched). So may be even if young Sol doesn't know the meaning behind things, may be she can sense that they are important?
Orrr may be since Sol is wearing the necklace when she confronts the killer, may be it too will end up as evidence for some reason and will later be returned to Sol just like SJ's watch? 🙊

It's a timetravel drama with multiple chances. Repetition is inevitable since the whole point is going through the same motions until you get it right 🙂

Given how the story has been going on so far i don't think young Sol and San Jae will have their own story. He might watch over her in the sidelines (or lose contact) but he probably won't "interact" with her🙊
