It's totally worth watching! The vibe is similar but the focus of the story is different.
Yes, don't miss it.βΊοΈ
TW also has romance. One of the sweetest YA romances i've seen recently in fact with the second couple (I won't say who they are but they are pivotal to the story and the ML)

It's like comparaing Apples and Oranges tbh π€«
TW focuses on family bonds and friendship more than romance (there is but it's not the main theme) compared to LR. So you can't really compare it- it depends on your preference.
I personally loved both of them. I wasn't as obsessed about TW as LR though. Eitherway, both shows made me look forward to Mondays.
I'd say the special thing about TW that stands out is how they portrayed disability - the struggles, discrimination, and how to overcome hurdles (no hate to LR since that is not the point of LR's story)
I watch it and it's overrated. It's a 7-8 at best and that's if they manage to not ruin the ending. The 'serial…
The SML's role isn't really the role of a traditional SML though in LR.
Yes, he started of as a typlical love rival and they did use time travel to change his fate from being a mediocre delinquent to somebody successful.
We haven't still been informed what his role in 2023 is so it's difficult to judge him at this point completely, but so far he has been pivotal in supporting the team. Thanks to him, the FL has a better idea on what's going on with the case (since the SML's dad is in charge of the case). ΒΉ As of ep 12, the ML too has a better idea on what to expect thanks to the SML. Finally, it was partially thanks to the SML they were able to save Eclipse in the second 2009 timelin.
"Tell me that you love me" is definitely underrated but that was again mostly because of a poor marketing choice and not because the cast is older. The ML in it is extremely famous too and I believe the FL is quite famous too if i remember correctly.
But LR's initial marketing was also a disaster. You are right to say that one of the main reasons LR got popular was because of the actors because it is a fact. The story isn't everybody's cup of tea i guess and that's fine. But we can't completely judge it until it's over π

It sounds like your main issue of the drama is it's core premise "time travelling".
I get it, last year when they first announced LR even i wasn't that keen since by that point i found myself watching back-to-back at least 4 or 5 on going time travel dramas together every week.
But I'm glad i gave it a try. The premise isn't unique but the story is still really special. Between the story, the beautiful OST, and the general 2000s nostalgia it brings (specially for the 30s-40s ' audience age category)- the story is pretty great in it's own way.
There's no point wandering if you'd watch it if it was with somebody else since the only reason LR saw the light of day was because they wrote the FL for KHY and they were able to film it thanks to BWS taking on the ML's role.
Lol tell me about it! Even if a drama catches your attention I still end up thinking about LR.
Like, I just came back from watching Atypical Family and the ML in it can timetravel. The catch is that the "present day" version of him has no idea what past events the "future" ML will change until he actually goes through the change himself later, driving him crazy in the process.
This always reminds me of poor Younger Sol π« π« π«
I'm probably one of the only people who are watching this show who didn't want them to date until they were adults.…
It's a rediculous theory. If the teenage stalker was supposed to be their daughter, she should be introduced in the NEXT 2023 timeslip not the previous one. π€·ββοΈ
At most, the only connection they can make is that San Jae did something incredibly nice to the stalker's parents in 2009 but this also sounds a bit meh π π π
Sometimes an obsessed fan is just that - obsessedπ€·ββοΈ
Also knowing how considerate both Sol and SJ are+ there's no real privacy at In Hyuk's place, i don't think anything major happened in ep 12 if you get what i mean πππ
Nahhh it won't happen. We have source material armour- the writer would have to be absolutely demented to go down…
In the vision yes it's extremely possible that SJ is expected to die given how freaked out Sol was. I meant in reality this cannot happen since Sol will figure out a way to stop it from happening somehow π
The 3 band members vision from ep 10 was rendered void in ep 11 after their farewell concert. The future constantly changes so we can't hold on to the visions for that long.
The 3 member band change came up because San Jae didn't audition in ep 10. But the future changed again because in ep 12, Sanjae confirmed that Mr Kim wants to sign him up along with Eclipse after seeing their farewell concert in ep 10.
Lol not everybody's life revolves around sex πAlso as an idol since 20 (specially a guilty/ heartbroken one),…
I admit the thrope doesn't always make sense but with LR it does. π
SJ is the king of "losers"- even when he is senselessly drunk, he still revolves around Sol. So unless he was forced to, there's no way he would be able to consciously look at somebody else unless he truly let's her go - which he didn't in any of the timelines so farπ
About him being an idol means he probably should have dated in itself is a bit of a stereotype. While we don't really know the exact reason why Original Timeline's Sanjae became an idol, it's most likely because he loved music and needed an outlet to escape from his past. It was the fame in fact that was causing part of his anxiety so it's hard to imagine that HE would take advantage of "private fan clubs" even if Sol wasn't in the picture. It's out of character.
I wonder, who was the genius who first thought: "lets make 100000 kdramas with 30+ yo virgins and serve this great…
Lol not everybody's life revolves around sex π
Also as an idol since 20 (specially a guilty/ heartbroken one), it probably wasn't worth the extra secretiveness and mental toll for him even if he had no chance with Solπ€·ββοΈ
It does serve a purpose- emphasizes just how irrevocably in love SJ is - might sound delulu but it's being true to his character π«
If In Hyuk didn't mention that SJ didn't have a serious relationship even in his 30s, Sol wouldn't have realized just how strong his feelings are (even she expected him to move on)
I think LR already passed the nunber of comments if i remember correctly π

Even i was skeptical after ep 1 but now i really like it.
The characters aren't exactly 1 dimensional for a drama revolving around super powers so it's fun
(Sounds confusing i know πππ)
Did they reveal how exactly the Chief died? We know he went to save her but it looked like the building collapsed right on top of himπ π π

Besides, knowing how high the expectations are now, TVN would probably change the ending even if it was originally planned to have a sad ending. π
