Sanjae's words were the starting point that gave her hope again. Besides prior to the accident also Sol was a sunny person. So it's not that surprising that she was able to find herself again eventually.
Edit: technically in Sol's POV, Sanjae's timing with the call was a miracle- he literally interrupted her "plans"- saving her.🙊
Honestly they should have kept the deleted scene from ep 6 (the scene with the bus seat).
It's the perfect example of why Sol is so devoted to Sanjae initially- it's not that she is consciously romancing him- it's just her being super grateful to her "savior".🙊
