What i meant was that the letter would include Yuan's raw emotions (and if they chose to keep the way how it was written in the novel it's going to hurt extra). If Qian finds out that his precious Yuan was so close to death at one point and here his was putting himself in dangsr for them again 🙊🙊🙊🙊

If they keep THAT letter in the drama though it would certainly make the mob confrontation more traumatizing . If Qian read the letter before the controntation, he'd know what Yuan was thinking even at that moment 😅😅🙊🙊💀

That's pretty valid. At least your concerns are consistant between both couples.

Sanpang definitely is a hypocrite (and he knows it considering how he reacted when Yuan toasted him).

The way they revealed the relationship also certainly wasn't ideal either (even if they hinted about it earlier).

And it definitely doesn't help that Llil has such a babyface (can you believe the actress is 28 yrs old??)


To me, both relationships borderline towards a grey area because the age gap isn't as rediculous as it is in some stories/ both Qian and SP did have the role of protector/ guardian but as far as we know they never really misused their roles at least intentionally - they were just playing "Big Brother".

Guess we just need to see how the story develops further.🙊

It is a good conversation starter though -

while we don't really know SP's age (though it's probably close to Q's age) and we don't know when did he start helping out Qian in a guardian's capacity, both SP+Lili and Qian+Yuan's original relationship is quite similar (only difference being that SP didn't adopt Lili).

I don't think they'll cover it in the series though since we don't have enough episodes + so far in none of the episodes they'e explored the idea that Yuan feels like he's missing something in his identity.

I'm in ep 10 and so far it's good. The story is quite different since i personally haven't come across a storyline like that before.
(If you are planning to watch it - avoid spoilers since part of the fun is guessing a key point in the drama).

Ep 1 may feel abit slow since it's the introduction but after that it picks up pace.
