I really think that TaeSung was unable to prevent Im Solβs accident and then got into a fight and got suspended.…
Same here- i really don't want In Hyuk to be involved in SJ's death. Like you said, they probably just grew apart because of their schedules. Even InHyuk's outburst about the retirement in ep 1 makes more sense now that we know they were super close back in the day.
I'm not sure if SJ kept tabs on Sol personally but did you notice how SJ and Sol's friend reacted when they saw eachother? SJ looked like he wanted to hide and the friend looked shocked for a second (like not in a starstruck kind of way- yes i ended up watching that scene again, too obsessed π€¦ββοΈ). Since he is an idol he might have his ways i guess? Did they ever mention how Sol got the eclipse tickets? As in, did they purchase or win them? If it is the latter, seems kinda sus considering this was supposed to be his last concert πππ
The duo who spoke to Sol- were they reporters or cops? If they were cops, perhaps they got her number and In Hyuk got it from them? Though not sure if this would have been legally possible. The timing though makes sense since if In Hyuk already had her number with him, he'd have spoken to her before the cops/ reporters did right?
The kidnapping theory does make sense ngl. Even in the flashbacks we can see that Sol was injured before the accident and even SJ looks visibly bruised and injured too in the first hospital scene. Since they did spend quite sometime introducing Taesung's "bad boy" side and run ins....it wouldn't be a surprise if Sol gets targeted.
The fact that the cab driver did seem to aim specifically at her in ep 4 also seems suspicious. Was he planning a random attack or did he follow Sol from the birthday surprise?
Sooo many questions. Either way I just want SJ and Sol to have a happy ending in the end.πππ
This couple really gives me first love vibesπ«Άπ»π«Άπ»
The jdrama right? Same here! Only it's so much worse since Harumichi at least was under the false impression that Yae was living a good life without him but here, SJ has no such consolation because of the paralysis
There was two accidents. I think Sol started noticing sunjae after he saves her in the first one and then they…
Ah...my interpretation of the flashbacks was that because the new timeline accidents seem quite similar to the original accident, the familiarity is slowly unlocking her repressed memories π
Like if you see the first flashback in the first accident- they show Sanjae running towards her (but he is too blurry to recognize) but in the second accident, the same flashback with Sanjae is shown again but it's clear now because the location is the same).
Also the original accident and the flashbacks from the 1st and 2nd accident, Sol is in the same uniform and hairstyle, with the same scratch marks on her face.
Theory about what might be the accident on September 1,If Im Sol was kidnapped by the taxi driver and taken to…
Damn....you could have solved some of the world'sproblems with those equations but I guess we'll never know (unless you somehow get hold of your own time travelling watch) ππ
There was two accidents. I think Sol started noticing sunjae after he saves her in the first one and then they…
But didn't the 1st and 2nd accidents in the new timeline happen because Sol changed the past?
Accident 1 - she was out at night because she followed Sanjae
Accident 2 - she was out on a date with the SML but he only asked her out after he met 2023 Sol? (I'm Probably wrong here though since it's possible that the SML may have asked her out in the original timeline too just to get rid off the other girl)
Ok someone explain me, First timeline and second timeline got intertwined at some point like SunJae fell for Sol…
Tbh 2008 Sol and 2008 Sanjae have the same lovey dovey vibe (even SJ is pretty extra when it comes to his hidden affections)...the only difference is that Sol's attention was on the SML at least at one point and to be fair, 2008 Sol's reaction to SJ is understandable since anybody would freakout if a random giant starts pesturing you about your love life, acting all jealous and stuff .
If it was a normal encounter, I feel like Sol and SJ would have hit it off eventually, specially since the SML finds 2008 SOL annoying whereas 2008 SJ was already crushing hard on her before the time travel madness happened. 2008 SOL may seem vapid and naive but she still has the same loyalty streak 2023 Sol has (albeit with less confidence) based on the messages she's been sending to the SML/ arguements with the bullies- which is basically what SJ likes too.
Also we still do not know how SJ got caught up in the original accident- was it just random, or were they always meant to be together and it's just that Sol forgot about him?
Theory about what might be the accident on September 1,If Im Sol was kidnapped by the taxi driver and taken to…
Same here π The fun part is when you use codes when you save a cintact jn a hurry and forget to update it...only it's been years and the code might as well be in latin nowπ€¦ββοΈ
Theory about what might be the accident on September 1,If Im Sol was kidnapped by the taxi driver and taken to…
That sounds likely honestly. Specially since she was focussing her pain against SJ, it's highly likely he simply got wiped out of her memory.
About forgetting people...tell me about it π I have been using my mobile number since 2009 and I swear I have no idea who half of the saved contacts are - they had to be important at one point for me to save them but alas π π π
I really think that TaeSung was unable to prevent Im Solβs accident and then got into a fight and got suspended.…
Could they be aiming for a twist like in Lovely Liar? Where SJ's death wasn't murder but an accident? Perhaps the manager came to talk things out with him but things went out of hand and the manager accidently pushed SJ off the balcony? SJ wasn't exactly focussed atm so he wouldn't have been able to stop himself?(If this is the plot, i hope they don't make it the bestfriend)
The way Sol lashed out at him...she almost sounds like it was "old" Sol ngl- the SOL who didn't know the real SJ...but we can't blame her- it's hard to imagine how one would eeact in such a situationπππ
I can't imagine how SJ must have felt all those years. I've seen another drama like this where the FL gets amnesia because of an accident that happened because of the ML indirectly. She gets amnesia and her mum takes advantage of this and gets rid off the ML out of her life. It seemed really cruel at the time but compared to this, that ML had it easy since at least he was made to believe that the FL was living a good life without him. Poor SJ on the other hand had to live with the thought that Sol's life was ruined because of himπ₯π₯π₯ I hope he at least knew that she was a fan.
Wasn't the Manager a psychopath in "Destined with you" as well?He gives me the same chills. Creepy creepy creepy…
When you put it that way, it does sound like a cop out π π π
It's possible that SJ was accidently pushed from the balcony during an arguement? If it's the case, I hope it's the manager and not the bestfriend though
Theory about what might be the accident on September 1,If Im Sol was kidnapped by the taxi driver and taken to…
Exactly. To practically forget his very existence is just crazy πππ
It could be selective memory loss perhaps? Since she did remember the SML after the friend reminded her (since it's been 15 years it's not rly unusual to have a foggy memory over your past crushes i guess)
Out of curiousity, how do you think the mum reacted when Sol ended up being SJ's number 1 fan? Of all the idols she could have fallen for - she chose HIM π
The fact that San Jae is destined to be forgotten by Im Sol one way or another is just seriously πππ
Hopefully yes- she will remember this time!
There's still alot that can happen of course since there were a few bits on the trailer that looked like there will be an older -university version of SJ and Sol (who can walk)?
The fact that San Jae is destined to be forgotten by Im Sol one way or another is just seriously πππ
Exactly! I guess we'll find out next week. It would make sense for her to forget him completely because of the accident (based on drama logic)πππ
I hate Monday's but i really can't wait for the next episode.
I saw somewhere that in the novel they did get a happy ending so we can hope right?
Call me crazy but I think Sunjae's best friend and his manager have something to do with his death.
Manager is definitely sus...at least by accident he could have caused SJ's deathπππ
The best friend's reaction from ep 1 tbh makes more sense now that you know just how close they've always been. Finding out your bff/ band mate was retiring from a 3rd party can hurt alot. He seems too loyal to be a villain - hell, In Hyuk practically even played cupid for SJ without being asked π π π . The only possibility perhaps is that he accidently pushed SJ down the balcony π π π

I hope they show a flashback of the mum finding out π
Also imagine her shock if she found out her daughter's saviour was her enemy's(neighbor) son?π€£

The journey seems traumatic enough- we need to end at a happy noteπ
It also explains why they were apart for 15 years with no sign of reconciliation (specially seeing as she was ironically his no.1 fan)π
There's still alot that can happen of course since there were a few bits on the trailer that looked like there will be an older -university version of SJ and Sol (who can walk)?
