The reason was revealed in ep 7. Safe to say Ji's anger was justified π
Exactly - and even the way he tried to win Ji over wasn't that great. Ji spent 10 years believing that his best friend abandoned him (and their puppy) because he was disgusted with him.
That kind of trauma cannot be excused rly. Do they ever mention if Ji had any other relationships?π (Tbh i have been only watching the show at 2X / skipping certain bits so not sure if I missed this)
The reporter actually is the main culprit in the end. The dad is akin to a kid throwing a tantrum. They weren't…
Definitely- the grandfather's ideas are so distorted. May be it was done intentionallyto show how outdated he was despite his chairman status?
I love the fact that JH rethorically told the grandfather that he couldn't help thinking how their lives would have been like if the accident didn't happen and that his mother was happy when they were together. That must have hurt the grandfather- a painful reminder that it was his fault that he lost his daughter/ stole her happiness twice/ hurt her children.
JH and DH was abused for years right under his nose. Even if he couldn't pick a side between the grandchildren, the least he could have done was made it clear to everybody that bullying wasn't tolerated.
The Husband's treatment is equally baffling. I get that he is the only parent left but was he REAAALLY a good influence? Both siblings are just as petty as the father - especially the sister who even tricked her own brother and worked with the "enemy". The father wasn't even a great asset for the company π€·ββοΈ Why he chose the husband over his own daughter to begin with makes no sense.

You are right. I was focussing on the reporter because he was acting as if he was innocent but the moment he chose to ignore the grandfather's command, he became an accomplice.
I get that the grandfather was feeling guilty and was traumatized too that night but he really shouldn't have let the husband get away with it so easily. The man is so shameless, he treats Ji Han like garbage when in reality he should be terrified of the fact that JH might eventually remember him from the night of the accident.
Even when the daughter brought up the accident, he looked uncomfortable but not even remotely traumatized in the way the grandfather reacted.
Would you rather watch yet a nother episode of JH and AJ moping about eachother? They've cried enough- it's time to move forward. (Though ngl they could have done the time skip better with a quick cap on AJ's career florishing and whatever the other did) instead of "BAMN! 1 year later")
All these revelations and life changing enlightenments, and the big brother has decided, to run away once again.…
Do Han didn't run away. His life is in New York as a celebrated artist. In S.Korea he didn't really do much.
He finally broke the barrier by telling the truth so he no longer has to be paranoid either. He can live his life the way he wants, where he wants, with who he wants now π
**** Bad feeling about the future- at that point AJ and JH were toxic to eachother by both being too self sacrificing. Their relationship wouldn't last and they'd end up having a bitter break up with no reconciliation possibility if they continued to be like that.
Except for the NC scenes with other men (don't think so t least), everything else did happen.
Personally I'm glad Yuan didn't follow that path. It's just out of character. He wouldn't do anything that could even remotely hurt any chance he has to get together with Qian - even if it was 0.01%.
Even years apart didn't diminish his love so it would make him a Hypocrite if he keeps saying that he just wants to be by Qian's side even if it is at a distance while having meaningless flings with other guys.
The reason was revealed in ep 7. Safe to say Ji's anger was justified π
That's true. Even if it was awkward to clear things that night AND he thought Ji was throwing away their friendship when he returned the puppets, the least he could have done was try to explain things before running away since his cousin told him that Ji looked hurt/ sad
But I am feeling so heartbroken when yuan said that,as much as I understood yuan he doesn't really have any kind…
Honestly Qian and Yuan's dynamic kind of reminds me of "My beautiful man" at times.
The only difference is that eventhough Yuan worships Qian and Qian is pretty much his life, he doesn't crumble under this weight. Rather than feeling unworthy of Qian's love and care, Yuan is ready to do anything to come up to Qian's level - to be equals and worthy of Q's love. To be strong enough to protect his beloved Qian and Liliπ
It's kind of a nice touch that they made Yuan and Lili seem like the same age since through Lili we can see how their sibling relationship should have been like (loving, carefree but chaotic) but with Yuan, all his actions revolve on "what can i do to help ge"- and it goes beyond being grateful for being taken in.
Nothing ever made my heart flutter like this bl did, maybe I am falling in love, what to do, it's not even a living…
Urgh tell me about it- no idea what sorcery did the director use when he released the drama- i'm completely obsessedπ€¦ββοΈ
The week is too slowπππ
Did you see the photobook they released on weibo? The next couple of episodes look so promising if they even remotely follow what was on the pages shared π

It's nice to see though that the sister does have a conscience after all.

(No hate)
They weren't even going that fast when the grandfather asked them to stop so he could have still hit the breaks without crashing their car..
The least they could have done was call an ambulance at least after fleeing the scene with an anonymous number.
I loved it personally since i was so done with time travel/ revenge/ past life thropes so you aren't alone
