I watched Mare years ago and carelessly kept Orange for later. By the time I wanted to watch it, they'd removed it🙈

It's a jdrama so the romance is quite similar to shojo romcom jdramas (with a sprinkling of healing as well).

Kind of like how Usagi and Arisu's romance is in AIB? They aren't passionate with eachother but you can feel their care (even when they are in denial).

The triangle isn't also really a triangle since the SML always makes it clear how much he ships the MC (except for one drunk misunderstanding).

That's her character. She actually did an amazing job emulating it since this is something common with Jdramas but you don't really get in Kdramas.

It's probably just to tease viewers of a possibility of a spin off by using 2 popular actors from both target markets. The ending seems to hint that the 2 cameo characters too might fall for eachother but idk if they'd actually go through a full blown series given how Song is an established Korean actor and we know how dramatic K-netz can get over BLs 🤪.

You never know with K-netz. They tend to be more strict when established artists get involved than when they weren't so popular. Fans are even willing to accept their BL past if they love them enough🙈

Kentaro is well known in South Korea lately thanks to WCAL (and his scandel probably happened after they finalized everything). As for SKJ- he's Vincenzo so majority of the Japanese audience would know him too.


I don't think that there will be a spin off though. The hint was that it would be like a BL. For Kentaro it might not be a major deal but conservative K-netizens would probably throw a fit if SJK was part of a BL🙈

This is different though. Unlike with the River Runs Through It, the FL here almost immediately realizes how she confused love with gratitude and it's amplified once she finds out the last twist (understandable given how she hardly interacts with people enough to notice the difference).

In RRTI, the FL used "gratitude" as an excuse for years while still pining over the SML.

Kentaro 's pretty popular in SK dramaland lately and this was probably filmed before his scandel since it's only been a few months. SJK is Vincenzo - most know him. Besides his scandal isn't huge enough to risk a boycott threat 😅
