They did say in interviews SS experiences the most growth in this arc and through her relationship with the Empress, so we will see how it goes. I feel like even though the third Princess was daring enough to do that, if she had truly gone overboard in hurting SS she would have been in a lot of trouble with all three of her parents and LBY. But based on previews for next weeks episode... the Fifth Princess literally not caring if she dies is next level.... I have a feeling SS is going to figure out a way to fight back tho

yes that was horrible :( .... and its such a weird balance because I know how independent SS wants to be and wants to take care of herself, build her own power etc. I hope she comes around to accepting his help a bit more at least when it comes to her safety.

I am also confused about this, I thought they were labelled by birth order regardless of gender but its confusing especially because there is a third Prince and third Princess.... Today's episode also mentioned that the Fifth Price was born by Lady Cheng (so not a child of Consort Yue or the Empress)
