I really hope someone translates it too! I've tried to read the google translate version, and while the story can be followed, the beauty of the writing is stripped away and the way some things are translated is incomprehensible to me. I want to read the novel after the show wraps up :'(

Consort Yue also mentioned that when her sister was pregnant they were starving and the Emperor had to go to the mountains to hunt for food in Winter (because Lady Royung wouldn't give them money). General Hao was the one who found the Emperor in the mountains frozen and then rescured him while providing for Consort Yue and her pregnant sister. He also nursed the Emperor back from the cold he caught.

I think she got emotional thinking of that but also because General Hao is in the afterlife with no family to pray for him (I'm not sure how the customs work related to this). She mentioned she wants LBY to get married and have a family so they can all pray for General Hao to not wonder the afterlife.

Ahhhh I see, thats so sad to hear and I've unfortunately started to notice this now that I've been more active on multiple platforms. I didn't actually know this while WRTW was airing, but I saw a comment just yesterday that when Wu Lei was first announced as a male star for LLTG, fans of other actresses were saying he was forced into it..... I felt so bad for Lusi that she has to listen to stuff like that. Glad she is able to stay focused on what's important. No matter how big of a fan of anyone someone is, it's never okay to say stuff like that. Actors are people with lives and feelings and they are putting themselves on the line to bring us joy and entertainment and at the end of the day they have a job to do. Comments like that are never okay.

Me too, I can't even imagine how mentally strong she has to be get through stuff like that. I'm glad she has good people around her.

He did mention on the episode where Lou Yao get's married (this was when he was arguing with LBY) that his teacher has sent in a recommendation for him to have an official position. So he should be arriving at the Palace soon to advice the Emperor I think.

That conversation also gave me chills when LBY straight up asked him, do you have improper thoughts about my fiance. Such a ballsy question lol
