Why did the poster change back to the teaser poster? JTBC confirmed this is the main poster:https://x.com/jtbclove/status/1990641137875566699(It's…
It’s logical. Cuz this is the main and current era of their love story, which is why it’s the main poster. They first meet in their early twenties (female lead has long hair) — this (recent mdl) teaser poster represents the beginning of their relationship. They meet again in their late twenties (28, fl has mid-length hair) and finally in their late thirties (38, fl has short hair). That’s why this is our main poster, showing their final reunion phase, where their unfinished love story gets another chance.

Not always, just like how KHY was first confirmed for Lovely Runner. Then they cast the male lead, switched the billing and BWS was billed first. This is the correct, official billing order for Love Doctor, that’s just how it is.

When is the admin going to change that to the correct billing order?! It doesn’t matter who the FL ends up with, Ju Ji-hoon is officially second-billed and Lee Jong-suk is third-billed. Just swap their places. Still waiting…

people say the rating of this show weren't good. lots of episodes reached 9%. is that bad? Would you marry me…
It really comes down to expectations, and it also depends on how the previous drama in that timeslot performed. If the earlier show only pulled low ratings (around 1–3%) and flopped badly, then getting this kind of rating for the next drama would actually be considered really really good and could even save the timeslot. However, this was a tvN prime-time drama, where around 10% is the expected result. It’s not like the Mon–Tue slot, where hitting that number would be huge, especially after Marry My Husband did so well (hit 11%). That’s why they send potential hits to the weekend slot, those are the shows expected to reach double digits.

TF had all the indicators of a big success: a fresh, promising script that was initially praised, Lee Junho as the main lead, a solid supporting cast, the performance of the previous show, and the weekend slot. They aimed for 15–20%. But after the four episode got 9%, viewership stagnated and stayed nearly the same. Only the finale broke 10%. It clearly underperformed, mainly because of the script. Viewers ain't fools, they criticised it. Even Minha was asked about the frustrated and repetitive plot. Industry insider acknowledged it as well: “Although there were evaluations that the latter half of the plot was disappointing, in the end, Lee Junho's influence was significant. It was a result made possible by the actor's consistent acting skills, which had built trust over time.”

So once again, he proved that he can carry a weak, unsatisfying, frustrating and underdeveloped script. I just wish he could get a strong, high-quality project where both he and the plot complement each other. I can only imagine how wonderful the results would be.

I already wrote about the repetitive plot and the same father-son being reason for failure. Firstly I liked KTP character: childlike, happy and hyperactive, but after the father’s death, I wanted some big changes with him. For a business-focused genre, I wanted more seriousness from him, more cunning, fierceness, strategic schemes and team-work chemistry (something like Itaewon Class or Flex x Cop). There’s just too much clowning for this kind of plot.

As for romance subplot, honestly can’t see or feel any romantic chemistry between him and fl here. His character is way too forceful with the FL, not giving her space and constantly making her uncomfortable. It’s a no for me. Whether he likes her or not, she likes back him or not, she said no and NO means NO. He should leave her alone instead of bothering her with unwanted attention, she clearly has other priorities.

What I did like in the last episode was the second couple storyline and situation just felt realistic. And I completely understand his mother, her worries. I don’t blame her at all. She’s right. The last straw was adding two more burdening, helpless people into her and her son’s already difficult life. It’s hard for her, her son is working nonstop, yet still chasing impractical dreams, with no real future plan other than working just to survive. And now he wants to become family with another struggling person, plus her helpless grandma, little brother, eventually future kids and he’d have to support all of them. The mother would also end up helping, because he’s her responsibility. Honestly, who would want that? Feelings are one thing, reality is another.

The story feels warm, even with its repetitive “almost success”, something goes wrong moments, it’s still interesting to watch. I like almost every character, even Majin 😬 (maybe that’s my Resplay bias). Not everyone has to be a green flag/forest or a perfect person; there should be humans too, with both good and bad sides. How can there be character development and growth if there’s nothing to improve?

Anyway, here comes my problem with the drama: I’m not feeling any romantic chemistry between the leads. I know it’s not a romance drama, but a well-written exciting subplot loveline with strong acting synergy and good directing can do wonders. I know fl has other things to worry about, but it feels like ml is shooting all these loving gazes, affectionate looks and caring gestures at a cold wall. I don’t feel any reciprocated emotions/feelings from fl; it seems one-sided and that brings down the romantic chemistry. Junho really trying, working hard to create it, but it's not here, cuz fl+unexciting romance writing blocking it.

Still, the plot is decent, the characters feel real, acting is good and the relationships are warm and human.

Person Lee Chae Min
I loved his acting, charisma, character, and chemistry with Yoona in BAYM. I also liked him in CCIR. He hit the jackpot now, so I hope chooses his next project wisely. A fun drama with a good team is a must, he should keep up this great momentum. With so many scripts likely coming his way, he now has a wide range of choices.

I’d really like to see him in another lead role right now. But the era when I could watch a drama just for a beloved actor only, no matter how messy it was (Crushology and Hierarchy) is over. So I’ll wait for him and hope I won’t be disappointed.

This is like Lee Junhoo who was said to have received 100 scripts after the success of his drama Saequek with…
King the Land was a perfect choice for Junho and he clearly thought it through. First, he did a critically acclaimed and successful drama, gaining recognition and praise for his acting. Then, he followed it up with a widely appealing rom-com to gain international recognition and expand his fanbase. King the Land achieved double digit ratings in Korea and also performed extremely well on Netflix. Even now, it continues to chart strongly.
So, regardless of whether you personally liked it or not, he delivered two consecutive box office hits. With ktl, he proved himself as a bankable lead, loved both at home and overseas, and cemented his status in the industry.

"Please also look forward to the Netflix drama Can This Love Be Translated? coming out this winter."*
Scheduled to release in Q4 of 2025 — this basically confirms December. So yeah, they're really coming in December!

not trying to hate but she hasn't been paired with an attractive guy since jaewook, i wish the casting was better
You can always watch ads — there are pretty models and they’re definitely eye candy. In shows or films, they’re casting actors based on who best fits the character in terms of looks, age, profession and of course, chemistry with fl. She’s really lucky so far because they’ve been casting real actors who can actually act. Not many actresses are that lucky.

I'm on episode 6 and everything was going good until they put this woman in a fat suit. No way. It looks comical.…
Yeah, whatever anyone says, the entire show is quality. The cases, characters, the leads relationship, directing, acting, literally everything is top-notch, except for that one little flaw. I get what they were trying to say, but the execution just didn’t land.It was awkward, cringey, parody-like and a total facepalm. You just have to endure that one short scene in episode 7 and then it’s over.

At this point I am all for kdramas bringing back main leads acting as their teen versions aswell even if they…
No, enough with fully grown adult actors wearing school uniforms. Just cast younger actors who resemble them a bit and match their gestures, expressions, or signature mannerisms, something that connects them to the older versions.
I still remember watching Reborn Rich while it was airing, when Joongki appeared at the end of episode 2 as a university student, it was honestly so awkward and cringe to watch. I’m pretty sure even he was embarrassed and probably thought, "Never again." I also understand when fans end up loving one version of the couple more than the other, cuz the chemistry just hits different. I went through the same with Love Your Enemy, just wanted more scenes with the younger version of the couple cuz their chemistry was on another level.

Bracing myself for disappointment. I'm glad I started it and still really enjoying it, but this heavy romance baiting—only to leave us dry in the end—will definitely leave a bad taste. Like, what was the point of all that? They could’ve easily shown a senior-junior relationship without the sniffing, blushing, rain scene, subtle smiles, sharing personal stories, couple cosplay with kids (in both the previous and upcoming episode) and all that closeness. Just like that moment with the rookie lawyer from the last episode—it felt heartwarming and portrayed a genuine mentor-mentee bond. Exploring it that way with the FL and the other newcomers in the group wouldn’t have led to all the backlash that’s bound to come once the finale ( with speculated and most probable ending for the couple ) airs.

i get what they were going for with the fatsuit but it was a poor choice. her weight shouldn't have anything to…
Honestly, the fatsuit scenes are the only parts that are uncomfortable to watch — they're cringy and feel like a parody of an otherwise flawless show. Of course, it won’t affect my overall rating, but yeah it was a poor choice.

Yeah, but the anti-romance crowd keeps saying there's nothing going on, no hints of anything, just a typical mentor-mentee relationship. Seriously? That rain scene and the way they looked at each other?! Come on, nothing to see there.
Let’s be real—if the roles were reversed and he complimented her perfume, many women would’ve called it sexual harassment. I’ve read plenty of reports where male bosses or coworkers, with no romantic intent, complimented female colleagues and ended up getting reported. Just saying.

The romance isn't well-developed, and even if it were, there's no real chemistry between the leads — so that part is a hard pass. If you're here for the romance, you can skip it; it's not worth it. But if you're looking for a slice-of-life story filled with friendship and the warm, cozy everyday life of lawyers, then it's worth watching.
