Nah, impossible. Netflix already revealed the lineup, and the previously aired dramas matched exactly with their announced quarters. This one is set to air in Q4 of 2025 — October, November, or December. Hopefully, they won’t go for December 😬
Netflix’s Q4 lineup has some potentially great shows: Cashero with Junho, Genie with Suzy/Kim Woo-bin and Confession with Kim Goeun. Who will go first or last? Who knows.
I really like this drama. There’s a sense of comfort and warmth in watching all five of them interact—eating together, helping each other, growing, and learning from the cases they handle. The cases themselves are interesting, and every character in the story feels genuinely human. There’s no real antagonist, which makes it feel like a warm, everyday human growth drama. I have so much praise for it. But… there’s one big letdown for me: Lee Jong Suk and Moon Ga Young have no chemistry. Their romance isn’t written well, and there’s no sense of curiosity or spark—neither before they got together nor after. Even if romance isn’t the main plot, it can still add so much value to a drama. A strong main couple can generate buzz and word-of-mouth that brings more viewers. Visually, they match well, but there’s no emotional tension, no butterflies, no depth. The romance just feels dry, and it’s like neither the writing nor the actors are trying to bring it to life. It feels like such a missed opportunity in an otherwise beautiful, heartfelt show.
I'm still obsessed with the Yiyoung/Dowon couple—they were the best part of Resplay. Even the actors, writer, and PD were surprised when OhGu (their couple name) blew up. If they had known, I think we could’ve gotten more scenes with the two of them. The last two episodes were disappointing because there weren’t enough cute OhGu moments, but as a subplot romance, I’m extremely grateful for everything we got. I think that’s why I wasn’t that fond of Hosplay—I couldn’t find a couple to root for as hard.
Romance is awful. FL is just fickle, falls for brother in law for next to no reason. I'm also not sure if I'm…
FL is in debt and forced to do a job she hates just to pay it back. As a first-year resident, she faces constant troubles, endless scolding, work stress, and sleepless nights. To make things worse, one day she’s even bullied and falsely accused of lying. Imagine her situation—at her lowest, exhausted, mentally drained, and utterly alone. And then there's Dowon, who stands by her side that day and takes responsibility for the first-year residents. Do you know what it means to have someone show you kindness and trust when you’re in the worst state of mind? It means everything. It's something you never forget. She was so grateful. It was in that moment, in the operating room, when things changed—then that flirting happened—and she began to feel something more.
I also remember the scene from WLYGT that Aesun always brings up with such a grateful heart—when her husband came to their table and started eating with them. In the worst places and moments, support means the whole world. And I truly believe Aesun fell in love with Gwansik a second time in that moment.
The story is doing okay but calling it a romcom is a stretch lol. The ML keeps switching souls for weeks and there’s…
Yes yes. this and Tastefully yours i call fake Main genre Romance cuz what is this... Resident playbook subplot had more and better developed romance in it than them. What a pity, cuz i have expectations and right to complain, when main plot is romance and we get none of it.
Where's romance, when MAIN genre is Romance. Problems, crazy lady a lot, Bongsu, dramaaa and maybe they will grant us kiss last minute of drama as charity. I have no expectations from final week episodes.
Wtf are you talking about?! If you hinting about yiyoung and dowon she is 1996 born and he is 1991 (characters ages).... Actress is also 1996 born and actor - 1988. This forced hatred is so funny, just write that you hate their romance and we get it. Not that nonsense.
Just finished ep 7. Drama is really good, acting is also great, script is well thought of, characters feel real, but it just doesn't resonates with me. I'm not attached to any of character, neither romance also works for me. Even if script isn't brilliant, even if it sucks later, but if i'm heavily invested to characters, romance, they bring tears, laughter, emotions out of me it's 10/10. Personal enjoyment is so dear for me. Here i just don't feel any of them, drama feels melancholic, too realistic, one episode feels too long. But yeah i'm glad others fully enjoying OUS and i wanted to love it so much too(((
You see billing order as it is first and main main lead is Gyj, then Ssa, Kys, hyj and Jjw. Four of first year residents are billed before JJw as they shoud be (cuz it's first year resident story, literal title of kdrama is ,,A Life of a Resident That Will Be Wise Someday"), but all five of them considered lead actors of kdrama. As of lovelines Gyj-Jjw is main one (my fave romance also😊), there is also kys with hyj but very very minimal.
Jong Suk is at second place because of the character he is playing and I think both actors are equally billed…
What are you talking, look korean sites, namuwiki, naver, not foreign ones. For me most impactful in Resident playbook was yeah go younjung + jung junwon. He was also main lead, stayed with fl, but was billed after four of them, that's fact. Cameo is just cameo, special Appearance is just spec. Appear... Impactful is only people's taste.

Disney itself confirmed billing order, naver articles, namuwiki you can look.Even new article on this site's main page now, ju jihoon is second billed. Every kdrama i seen here cast was listed according to billing order, no matter character stays with fl or not.
There’s been a lot of speculation about why LHC didn’t do any kissing scenes. But up until now, even her fans…
Choice of not doing kiss scenes is fine, but leading romance that auto requires to do this is so so wrong. There are so many talanted, beautiful actresses, who beg this opportunity and who will do their job as romance fl must do.
I can't stop repeating love this show and adore our couple so much😍😍 they are freaking natural, adorable and cute 🥺 instant mood boosters 😌 only wish it had 16 episodes and stayed with us much longer((( Production team, writer and whoever cast gyj/jjw and gave them love line need a raise.
Big Letdown for this season was i couldn't overlook actors age/appareance, especially Ryeo Un/Bae Nara, too much and big for high school. Yeah koreans look very young, but here with high school background many times lost story immersion. Now i truly know how many felt, when they watched The Heirs 😬 i loved it, but now can't imagine rewatching them, believing they are high schoolers😅
Resident playbook is my latest obsession and i hope for our sake they end it nicely with some cute/lovely moments with our otp. Love them so much😍❤️ waiting yiyoung/dowon dating era this week and reactions from family and colleagues about their relationship 😀honestly, dislike this sequel era in kdrama world. Never wanted second, third seasons waiting killing interest and quality almost always drops. So i hope they end it with closed happy ending to rewatch later again.
I've just seen that this is the first kdrama and lead role for actress "Han Ye Ji". We agree 99% of the time it's…
You watched creators interview right?! He said that everyone auditioned for main roles even gyj and only one person team agreed without doubts was YeJi. Cuz they imigined sabi just like her and after seeing her they all agreed she's their Sabi.
Yeah,i was asking the same question. Like she's here to be fl that's all. Makjang need some fl and little romance (like reborn rich) then you can forget about fl existence. No point, nothing, nada. Actress did good job. Only cuz of her that pointless role was bearable to watch.
So so boring revenge makjang script with one-dimensional characters. I'm not even attached with ml, just indifferent mostly. Honestly watching only for acting, everyone doing their best. Also want to applause fl actress she's making such bland, unlikable, badly written character bearable to watch 👏👏
