how was the medical in this drama? i mean will the MC be dealing with different medical cases/ saving a lot of people? im looking for something like the horse doctor or jewel in the palace kind of drama. thanks
have this bookmarked a long time ago even before TTB, finally giving this a go after so much recommendations. unlike any other disaster movies, like the one in hollywood, this only focuses on the 3main character. when hollywood makes something like this, they usually shows 10 characters with different story and will somewhat intertwined during the movie which makes it more complicated. i like how the story only focuses on the little girl and her mother. 9/10 for me :)
was about to give it a 10/10 but ended up at 9.5 only because of Lee Jong Suk, if any other actor will probably give this 8. it started really great, but then when they started to mess with the story like making the whole thing a dream, resurrecting dead people and such, it kinda put me off. but still manage to finish this because of Lee Jong Suk and the female lead.
as much as i would like to watch this, i just cant stand it. the kind of humor it gives is not just for me. i really like oguri shun and it pains me to let go of this drama. i love how his character is being serious in his job as a detective but everyone around him acts like they are in a sitcom :(
i decided to unbookmarked this on my list (because of bad reviews), then decide to give the first episode a try. damn i was surprised that i managed to watch 12 episodes in one sitting. keep telling my self that i'd stop after each episode but i keep on going lol. some episodes were really cringe worthy - editing is bad, no chemistry between the 2 main lead, and it took forever (still waiting at episode 11) for the team of night watchmen to resurface (after being annihilated). but for some reason i cant put this down lol. ok i'll stop now here and see the other half of this show. will let you know if ever i decide to drop this.
EDIT: after episode 12 this become burdensome to watch. after episode 16 i just cant take it anymore and decided to just jump to the last episode. im glad i did because it feels like i didnt miss that much and was still able to follow whats goin on.
6.5/10 for my over all rating. the only thing good in this drama were the soundtracks. i wont recommend it but its still watchable.
i watched this because of the high rating (8.4) and a little disappointed. (just me)
strong points are
1. medical cases were rare and interesting
2. autopsy procedure were realistic - those entrails looks so real (might be pigs)
3. has a good plot
Weak points
1. medical team way too good looking and wears make up in the lab. Why do you need to wear make up when opening a dead body?
2. musical score and soundtrack failed to set the mood/pace of some of the scenes
3. no chemistry between the 2 leads. im happy that they didnt focus much on the romance since its just not working. i just dont see the 2 leads being intimate to each other.
this could be perfect minus that doctor played by Takashima Masanobu (dr. moriyama). i cant stand his character. I want to take this drama seriously but then his antics were not that of a professional doctor but more of a grade school. dropping this.
this definitely needs a second season. this is your not usual detective story. it has little bit of darkside and injustice too. i hate it but love it at the same time. no romance just pure mystery and crime solving
high rating of 7.9 fooled me. this for me deserve 6/10. only thing good in this drama is Lee Jong Suk and Park Hae Jin. Plot is so complicated AF. Romance didnt work at all. No chemistry between the 2 main leads! I was actually rooting for the Main Male lead and 2nd Female lead to end up together. I wasted 20 hours in this one :(
i never screamed in cinemas before, but damn. this will make you scream and keep you at the edge of your seat. highly recommended to those who likes zombie movies! 10/10
finished this in 2 days :) one of those dramas that you wont be able to put down. Ok Taec Yeon is just BAE. this is like a mashup of Who Are You and Oh My Ghost :) the bad guy here is ridiculously good looking make me feel that his face is not real lol. Looks like a mask haha. 8/10 :)
wow, im so proud of myself finishing this. was able to endure it because Song Il Gook is just so H-O-T. he's the only reason that made me watch this. and also bragging rights that it is 81 effin episode. The only thing i enjoyed here is his journey finding out who his real father is. then after that, it got so dragging that i have to skip a lot of scenes. I can't say that this is really great. I was able to see Empress Ki before this and Empress Ki set the standard for me for Historical / Romance drama. Sa Yong and Hyop Bin romance were more interesting than the lead haha.
