But, so far, it's just DSS's computer generated subs, so they'll only make us understand the gist of the conversations. Maybe some awesome subbers will fan edit them so they'll become fully correct. :)
EPISODE 5 ENDING WAS SUCH A CLIFFHANGER T___T CRIES I WANT NEXT EP ALREADY!! Daaaaaaang this drama is so goood…
I agree with loveanimeever, to be honest. Revealing so suddenly that he's Dong Joo will open a huge emotional can of worms for Soo Hwan. Except he's kinda making her suffer more like this, but yeah, I understand where Dong Joo comes from in hiding who he is.
Plus, the way he sees it, she's perfectly happy with her life, with Ji Woon. It's tricky for him. So he's creating a different 'person' to make her let go of Dong Joo, but it's not really working I guess.
Am I the only one wondering what happened to Dong Joo's sister? :/
During episode 3, on the scene at the hospital's rooftop, Dong Joo said to Soo Hwan's dad that his sister is now living well alone. It was implied that she can now take care of herself in America :)
Why isn't he getting new roles? Good actor, major babe, can definitely play adult/mature characters because he doesn't look too 'boyish' and yet his last work was in 2012? What a waste.
Happy birthday Jung Eui Chul. Hopefully you'll get more oportunities soon.
I liked episodes 1-3 but I can't finish episode 4... I don't know, I think the main lead is kind of stupid, he…
Edit: I checked some parts of the episode, and her team leader on the 119 does mention that Ji Woon is her fiancé. Okay, maybe for the outside people they must be a couple, but for me he talks about her in a such a 'distant'/shy way that I don't think an actual engagement took place yet.

I don't think we have a confirmation that they are indeed engaged, though? Sure, they are close and he likes her, their parents are also close. He calls her father, 'ahbeonim' - but sometimes friends call their friend's parents like that too.
But we never saw anything that confirms an actual engagement. Or maybe I missed it somehow. You can correct me if I'm wrong :) She did say she is 'taken', but she could be exaggerating on that aspect.
I still get the feeling the parents are pushing this relationship a bit, especially her father. And I bet he's gonna push it even further now that Dong Joo is back.
How are you guys liking it so far? I'm not sure if I should watch it or not.
It's your standard weekend drama. The loud ahjummas, the back-stabbing, a theme that sets the motion of the plot (here is the creation of Hanbok and Korean traditional clothing), the evil character(s) (sometimes someone's mother, others someone's father - here is the mother of one of the main characters) and the background foundation with the kids.
I don't find it very melodramatic, but it's definitely very makjang-y. We still have yet to meet the older cast, but the kids are definitely the most interesting characters, so there's room for improvement once the time jump happens.
I don't know what to feel in relation to this drama. I like it, but I don't feel comfortable or at ease while watching. I love all the side couples and characters (especially Dong Tak and Hae Ju) but the two leads are always so depressed, there are so many mysteries surrounding the family relations and what exactly happened.

He is very much a second lead character.

I hope she appears again too!

But the families are definitely pushing for it.

Interesting article though. I tend to prefer Older Man-Younger Women stories, but it's really a matter of taste.

It's an emotional drama, but it's odd.
