It’s a bit sick for the girl to indulge in the memorialising of Jisoo while crushing on the guy. Which bridge she went to, why she went to Norway and behave like a nutjob when the weather was bad, I’m half waiting for the FL to speculate what underwear color she preferred to help ML remember his first love 😂 weird

Why do people think so much before picking a call? Like seriously curious. Starting at the lit cellphone display at the caller ID for a good 3-5 seconds. A bit annoying, very common in this show.

This one is structured like a book. If you’re a reader you will instantly feel like you’re reading a visual book. It moves, paces and unfolds itself like a long form story.

It’s too early for me to say what I actually think about it. But I think Chae Soobin is such a natural actor. She is not only lovely to the ears, she’s pleasing to the eye, but there is a natural ease in her acting. I wish she does more well written projects. She is very doll like.

Jisoo is a nut job. That’s what I make of her fragile and shaky state of mind. And Soon Ho the (adopred adult niece) is the most nosy and annoying character in this show. Maybe it’s just the way I have been raised, I find nosiness detestable. Whether it’s in written works, visual and performance arts or generally in life, I am allergic to people who are nosy and overbearing and can’t maintain space.

Most of the cases in the drama / webtoon are inspired by real life, so you can get the idea 🥲
Oh God. That’s horrible.

Can we just stop and appreciate how much growth as an actor Kim Sung Cheol is exhibiting. It’s totally a Lee Hye Young movie and she’s a total maestro in this one. But Sung Cheol has improved a lot as an actor.

Is school bullying this normal and vicious in South Korea 😟 without repercussions? Aren’t the parents observing that the kids are getting bullied ? In a society with the most advance level of surveillance, how do people get away with it?!

I couldn’t go beyond 10th episode. Dropped

The writing is so bad. But then I just can’t with the FL pouting and aegyo-ing, doing the penguin walk and sticking out her lower lip when she looks like the guy’s older sister. Oh no, that’s asking too much from me.

Wasn't there some news that Suk Ko would be taking a break indefinitely? And will not be signing any new projects. I think his agency and his socials were where it was declared.

In any case, I think he's a solid actor. I love how he is so not caught up in image and looking like a doll man and just is doing interesting, gritty, and nuanced roles. You can tell he respects the craft of making a project and the art of storytelling. Not sure if I will watch this one cos rom-com isn't my thing. But glad to see he is signing on to stuff.

One culprit is soooooooooooooooo resourceful. It’s like he’s jumping time loops. He’s at the holding site strangling the girl, he’s driving around, he’s surveilling on the in-laws, he’s surveilling the ML, he created a deepfake so real, he’s definitely been keeping taps on the ML cos he knew he wanted a divorce, he also has his own one man tech hub that’s basically providing him advance operational excellence, he is able to scramble his geotag, while the law enforcement machinery completely gets owned by this one man plot. The CCTV capital of the world is doing nothing to surveil the footsteps of the culprit from the night he drove the ML to his home or the footage of their luxury villa apartments. My guess is that the culprit has somehow wiped that clean as well. As if the villa CCTV had no advance cyber security.

Yeah, it starts off as a little ridiculous. Too much ask from the audience in the area of “suspension of disbelief”. Also I feel the direction is amateurish.

I consume, review, market, sell, focus group and promote content for a living. And I have never seen the element of “yearning” dealt this badly in any story. Don’t get me wrong, I have seen bad ones too. But this one is really bad cos it mentions it over and over but completely misses the mark. I came across a Gen Z kdrama influencer gushing about how well “yearning” has been dealt with in this show. That piqued my interest and so i started, cos I know yearning, if done right, makes for a memorable viewing experience. It leaves its mark. I came to this show with an open mind. And all I can feel is my mind trying to latch on to something that justifies this production and its hype.

Oh and Yearning never joins the chat. 😒

Okay on Episode 8: I’m finding Mo Taehi extremely…nonsensical as a character. She is just inserted all of a sudden and she goes 0 to 350 kmph after the ML within 4 scenes of her appearance. Unsettling.

This show is as stupid as they come. 😒 FL looks so much older than the ML. Everything about this show is so forced, the comedy, the romance, the animosity angle. It’s like a shoddily put together story.
