Musings of a senior detective “She suddenly went missing in action. She never explained why she was gone (or where) and certainly seemed exhausted”
EXHAUSTED ??? You mean she didn’t have visible injuries of brutal torture ???!! Was she using the same bruise kit Amber heard was using or what ? 💀💀💀💀💀💀💀 I can’t at this point
While Detective Lee gets a pep talk from a senior detective on the rooftop- his workstation desktop as an investigative Cop has no password. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH how stupid is stupid ? Not stupid enough I guess
Team Leader Hwa Young needs to be in jail. She needs to be put in handcuffs. But she keeps sitting in her office and receiving Amazon deliveries of her torture diaries from the bad guy lol . That’s how stupid this show is. Stupid stupid stupid. The lady is obviously compromised and no one is confronting her. Not even the hot shot criminal profiler nor the all recording eye, who are both sharp and analytical individuals. Stupid stupid stupid
They keep losing the guy as if they planned it from the start to solve the damn thing in episode 15 - waste of time and bad bad writing. I forwarded a lot.
Oh and the cop lady was abducted by the killer five years ago and no one ever did anything about it. It was just her missing in action 5 years ago. Just a random mention lol stupid stupid stupid
The editing of this show is done by a child who has just been given the computer program and he’s figuring out and using all the tools at his/her disposal. God damn, there is background music and sound effects in every single damn scene. Like I am not even joking. There is not a single quiet moment. Constantly there is an unnecessary soundtrack playing in the background. Stupid just amateurish shit
It’s giving basic bitch energy with “pick-me girl” aesthetics. Trying too hard to get noticed but under delivering. This trauma harvesting spree of Korean romcoms is so overused now. When will they retire this like the toxic lover tropes of the early 2000s.
Recast and reshoot. Not a big deal. Disney was in profit in 2025 even in DTC (the division that looks after streaming business), it reported multimillions in profit. No point in shelving a project. Rename, recast, resell.
you know, the only issue I had with this season or storyline was, how did Baek Ki Hyun just leave for Vietnam without confronting his sister? His older brother is another thing. But doesn't he have any worry for his sister. In a country like Korea in the 70s. I mean, it felt a little under cooked.
Post episode 6: very well done. A satisfying watch.
The steep the climb, the harder the fall. We know what to expect in Season 2.
Hyun Bin was the star performance. Not a hair out of place. His performance was perfect.
The best moment in the whole series for me was still Episode 5 encounter of the Baek Brothers. Although I would have liked a little more room for their backstory.
Lastly, Kang Gil Woo's portrayal of Kang Dae Il deserves recognition. He plays the runt of his character to perfection.

Also hire a better director.
