I think the subtitles / translation is very choppy. Something tells me I know better Korean than the paid subtitle workers. Viki volunteer translators and proofreaders would have done a better job.

The dad and his new lady - the lady is diagnosed with Alzheimer’s but they are together. Hyun Jin and the next door neighbour end up happy together. Daniel is not his son. The ex lied about it. She takes the son back to Germany. The brother and the writer girl end up together.
Also honourable mention here to Chang Ryul who plays Daniel’s dad in this show (link below). Let’s normalise shape shifting / changing looks for professional acting. Kim Seon Ho please do something about it. 🤷🏻♀️
Well - post watch. Very well written. Messy lives, messy relationships , messy human experiences. Slice of life and melodrama is my favourite genre. It’s not always an easy watch. But that’s the beauty of it.

My favourite people in this show are Hyun Jin’s friend and her husband and the priest.
Hyun Jin is also a wimp. Damn every time I watch people who don’t prioritise therapy in their lives or in written or performed works. Like not a single character even tells them “hey I think you should seek professional help”. Not once.
Also how does Daniel become so meek all of a sudden. He was very bold in telling his dad’s girlfriend how much he hated her. But when the time came he was a wimp. Like is this a wimps convention
Also tell me how does th ex always get a meeting with the girlfriend. Like how and why ? 😂 every time the ex has a bone to pick - she walks in or sets up a face-to-face and gets it. No one in my life can ever force their presence or company on me. Unless I’m getting paid for that assignation 🤷🏻♀️ like this bitch just heard they are getting married and next thing the new girlfriend is entertaining her interrogation lol
