Time travelling is also banned, excessive violence, gay , bad guys can never get away etc. We basically can't even have a proper antihero/villain as main. The motive for these restrictions are bad influence on people. Some lunatics were believing rebirth and time travel were real so CCP decided to ban it ( at least thats what i've heard).

If you liked the Story of Xingfu you should watch Wild Bloom, both stories are very grounded and realistic. ZLY as Xingfu is a energetic and positive country bumpkin opposed to Banxia cynical and strong personality. Its a great drama with historical events mixed in.
