I've read that Jiang Li was 14 years old, that would make sense since coming of age ceremonies were at14/15 years old, and Duke Su is 24 years old. Xue Fang Fei was 19 when she died. PS: I didnt read the novel, just read a comment before.

I'm at ep 16 in JOL2 she had minimal screentime. I like Li Qin in Youth Memories,
she has a ordinary almost bland role but it worked better on me.

I'm watching Li Qin in War of Faith, she is doing a good job as a communist spy/ assassin. Her role in JOL is so bland, the writers made evry other female interesting but her.

Stellar cast and stellar music. A pity what happened to Deng Lun, i loved him in Ashes of Love as well.

If mdl had a Plan to Skip,it would be my first drama there. I'm not interested, they could make a masterpiece for all i care, but i wont be watching.

I'm also watching The double really entertaining. I started watching Hard to find a few days ago but i was finishing another drama so i stopped when she moved to his house. I'm bad at watching multiple dramas at the same time. I tend to focus on one or two and have a third on rewatch 🤣🤣. Current obessesion is The Double ❤️❤️

The production company behind this drama is also a managament agency owned by Yu Zheng the producer. Its common in cdramaland to start with dramas that their agencies invest in. That is the case of many agencies and stars like : Zhao Lusi Bai Lu, Ju Jingyi etc.

I didnt like that the Ye family was this dumb. Merchants specially in ancient times have to be really cunning, they had connections and wealth. Why is this easy to frame them ? Were they like that in the novel?

Chinese producers are addicted to losing money or they're trying to get away with tax payments somehow 🤣🤣
