Zhao Liying has been praised by pretty much every chinese media for her performance on Article 20. Screendaily a Brittish media did a review on Article 20 and she is highly praised there as well. This is an excerpt from the review:

I had a zoom call today with ZLY , her 100 paid tabloids and her millions of water army. The inflation is so high that she is doing a massive layoff. I got lucky and im still employed so i gave up on asking for a raise. This is a huge issue and no foreign media is reporting this. We need to raise awareness.
I will love Tencent forever if they release this beginning or middle of March. I'll be on vacation. Im already imagining myself all day in bed watching my dramas 🥹🥹
So excited about this drama now. I love You are my glory because the visual and screen chemistry between her and Yang Yang was amazing. I think Chen Xing Xu matches her strong visuals so well. ZLY: "I appreciate and value every award I receive. They will tell you that my hard work has not been in vain during this period. everyone needs inspiration, I am no exception"
👤: "For the younger generation of actors, facing the highly competitive film industry is a challenge. How do you maintain your passion and motivation for your acting career?":
ZLY "I think you need to really like what you are doing. I have reached this stage and I have gained a lot. The only reason I can persist is because I really like performing. Cherish likes and dislikes, which are more motivating than external temptations.
"What is the most challenging role you have faced in your acting career? How did you overcome the challenge and throw yourself into the role?"
ZLY:"From a performance perspective, each role is the most challenging. And I love challenging different genres. -An actor's performance is a bit like magic. What the audience sees is whether the result is exciting or not. We are responsible for how to change it, and the process of magic can retain suspense."
👤: "You have created many unforgettable roles in the past and performed in-What plans or goals do you have for your future acting career?"
ZLY: " I have goals, but I will not set specific plans for myself, because many good roles and good scripts are hard to come by. Once your experience and achievements reach that stage, many things will fall into place. I am always changing and growing. The things I care about most are definitely different at different stages. I like this kind of growth.
The only thing i managed to complete was My boss but i also got annoyed with the drama. Sword and Fairy series were bad, and i dont like Wu Lei romantic/creepy stare in Amidst a snowstorm.i really need a few dramas in March because i have a 3 week vacation. I just dont want Shen Li and Fox spirit together.
Hello humans, so im here to update ZLY page with my limited english. ZLY has a support role in Movie Article 20 from famous director Zhang Yimou and it was released on Chinese New Year. This is a really competitive time slot and 8 movies were released on the same day, 4 were dropped from cinema slots. The winner was Movie Yolo from female director Jialing🥳👏 i hope more female directors thrive in the industry. Article 20 did well with an initial douban score of 8.0 currently i think its 7.9. ZLY did a movie press conference and a roadshow in a few cities to promote the movie.
