I decided to watch it to the end - with lots of fast forwards - so that I can write a review on DramaBeans bc…
So now it's YOUR review? Here, I assumed you merely pasted our comments into an AI to generate it while you skimmed the episodes to claim that you technically "watched it".
She's got the company back. And also those are just cameo characters from another series.
The One-Dollar Lawyers presumably worked behind the scenes after their cameo and the fruit of their efforts was revealed in ep14 when ML's mom served divorce papers and other legal documents related to her unfair commitment and stock ownership in the company.
People liked it enough to keep watching despite the flaws, and so this implies they also care a lot more than the people who simply became disinterested and dropped it. Their hopes were dashed more than they were rewarded, hence the negative reviews.
The bottom line is that many viewers would like to see the same cast and production quality in a romcom with much better character development, plot & pacing.

"Pfsk.... YOU come across as a hack."
As a mere viewer-commenter on a public board devoted to discussing dramas, I really don't think the word 'hack' applies in my case. The term is reserved for would-be critics, writers, journalists. Also, if you had actually read my posts here you wouldn't be lumping me in with those generalizations. Knee-jerk react much?
The writer woke up and decided to write a romcom with every cliché and trope they could find🤣
Maybe the writer has a stack of unsold scripts as good as her first one—Mystic Pop-Up Bar—and in her frustration decided to write a crappy trope-filled makjang romcom which immediately sold, and now her mortgage has been paid?

You come off as a hack. Speed-watching so you can write a review? Really?
I doubt you will manage to write an insightful review on WHY it's Trash—let alone what is redeeming about it (and why so many kept watching despite its flaws.)
You might as well feed this entire comment board into your AI to synthesize & plagiarize the insights shared by your betters. You hack.
I always wonder... if someone dislikes a drama so much why keep watching it? only to continue to complain after…
Viewers can decry the story while enjoying the actors' performances.
Even the Director knew that this drama was being carried by the charisma of the cast. That's why we got the Bollywood-style dance ending as if it were an embarrassed apology for the miserable script.
Anyone disgusted with how she just gives up on him after he gets amnesia??? she tries a bit to jog his memory…
That's how it was presented, but according to Secretary Kang, she nurtured him for a month while he was recuperating. Too much is happening in this episode to allow good storytelling (show, not tell). Instead, we get exposition (tell, not show).
In the upcoming Netflix Drama (based on the webtoon) Cashero, the ML has super-strength based on the amount of cash he carries. His sidekicks get their own superpowers by drinking booze and eating carbohydrates, respectively.
I think Da-rim's own super-strength is a result of inhaling smoke! This explains how she was able to rescue Ji-hyeok from the burning gallery. She carried him down the circular stairs in the thick smoke, in darkness, while wearing high heels—all the way outside without tiring or even suffering any smoke inhalation damage.
She is a superhero. She should take up cigarettes!
oh jesus lmao i was just about to continue with ep4, now seeing all the spoilers 😬 is it still worth finishing…
The actors really do carry this. While I'm very much averse to lies & gaslighting tropes, I continued on because the cast and production make it enjoyable enough for me to do so. I've posted some harsh criticisms here on this board (mostly regarding the script), but it's all in good fun. Give it a chance if you can.
What a a full-circle ending! I was concerned it would be rushed with the limited time, but this drama was good…
I concur with your summary and rating.
BTW, my favorite J-drama of 2025 was Romantics Anonymous. I also enjoyed Private Banker, which I found reminiscent of The Honest Realtor series, insofar as both teach valuable real-world lessons while also providing entertainment. Edutainment.
P.S. Block me.

Also, she's still quite a capable liar—grifting hotel staff, even to the ML's face!

Happy Birthday, Jesus. Hope you like crap!
