I suspect CFY and ZJY has a deeper connection even after CFY's scandal but slowly dwindled partly maybe because of the strict rules imposed by CFY's mom on him, monitoring his every movement. Don't know if I'm right with my observation. As to FCC, he is super supportive of her, booked 10 cinemas for her latest movie with TJC, openly greeted her during her bday, promoted this drama on his weibo page. Love their friendship and love also their chemistry. I think ZJY is still single as I read in one of the gossip blogs, Chen Kun is introducing some good boys/men to her as he believes having a healthy romantic relationship will be good for her hehehe. I wish all parents can be as understanding and supportive as him hahaha

I think Zhang Jingyi has great chemistry with most of her ML, She looks good with Chen Fei Yu but I want her to be paired up again with Fan Cheng Cheng ... there is a certain air of mystery that excites you as a viewer lol

Agree. Maybe because Hua Zhi's character seems to be calm and sensible. Depends on their interpretation of their role. Reminds me of Baiyu in Love O20 and Memory Lost that I even checked if I'm watching the same actor lol

One thing I learn ... never rely on other people's review or comments here. Watch a few episodes and see for yourself if the drama caters to your taste. Reviews and comments can sometimes persuade or dissuade you. Really to each his own

Yeah seems it's the norm now. Been wanting to watch Satomi Ishihara's drama in Netflix but it's even worse... 1 ep per week waaaahhhh

So far so good. I suggest you go watch a few episodes and decide for yourself. Don't be like me.... I used to read reviews and comments here and some drama blogs and vlogs so I ended up being confused. Those that have poor ratings turned out to cater more to my taste and the one with high ratings, I cannot get pass 3 -5 episodes. To each his own. People have different taste.

Yes that's true. I remember watching 1 historical drama before, I got curious and did a little research on the way of life during that period. My heart got broken for the women in those days. We are blessed to be living in this period.

IMHO the popularity of dramas will increase if they will release more episodes per day vs waiting everyday for 1 episode to be released. Youku did not spend a lot for the marketing of this drama... it is only by word of mouth that most people get to know this.

She's really good and I like how she is trying different genres. I want to see her pair-up again in a light Rom-Com idol drama with Fan Cheng Cheng, it would probably be a real challenge for her. It's easy for her to make viewers cry... let's see if she can make us laugh
